It feels like a Visual Novel that wanted to hide the fact it's a visual novel. I picked a guy at random and beat it in 5 minutes.
Very short. It left me wanting more of course. I hope the game had more than just this one scene. There are various other issues that one can put into such a good conccept of a game. The replayability is rather good but then again I would prefer more scenes and story archs that would then influence each other. A larger story arch and fleshing out the character of death would make this game really good. I felt like this was merely a teaser for an actual game and it got me hooked and wanting more. / I hope for more updates expanding the story and wish the developers good luck!
To echo what others have said, this feels extremely short to be an extended cut. That isn't necessarily bad, but a game like this feels like it needs to be longer or have more variety than it does.
Very nice game
A short, amusing investigation style adventure game where the Grim Reaper must choose a victim while weighing the ramifications on a country suffering from political and cultural instability. I wish the developer would have accounted for ultra-widescreen players though and allowed for alternate, windowed resolutions. They suck for not doing so.
To short to call this a game. Even free would be to much for this game. My rating 0/10, not recommended.
After playing death and taxes, postmortem really intrigued me because if it's similar mechanics but sadly, it didn't manage to deliver. The graphics are kinds nice, sound is okay. There is a lot of "lore" to be found and you can get a lot of information from talking to the people. However, after playing every possible ending, i don't feel like your decisions have a lot of impact. Only 2 or the 6 or 7 endings are noticably different from the others and none of them are satisfying in any way. of course it is realistic that no political conflict can be resolved 100% but i still asked myself why this choice is even there when it doesn't really matter? I didn't feel like this experience was worth the time it took, so i cannot recommend it.
