I had tons of fun playing this game (even 100% the game), but there were more than a few frustrating levels. There were great ideas and game mechanics, but also some other not so fun ones. There were levels that made complete sense, but others that are annoying to navigate through. Overall, it's charming and entertaining, although it could do with a little tweaking.
Lindo, original e divertido. Recomendo muito!
Pretty good puzzle-solver! I wish this game had more views- unique mechanics, cute and plentiful sprite variety- and even fun bosses!
Incredibly charming, with a lovely SNES-style soundtrack and aesthetic. I only recommend this game if you want chill SNES vibes, because it has that in spades. I also recommend turning on the "3rd Chance" difficulty setting and the Speed Run mode. It can be decently challenging, and those two settings reduce the frustration of being sent back a lot. The best levels have you improvising clever layouts or just barely making it to the next checkpoint with your last blocks. The worst ones have you trying to mindread the developer about where you must place your block in order to perfectly land on the wrecking ball or other moving obstacle. Thankfully those types of levels are pretty uncommon, and the generous array of difficulty settings helps a lot with them. EDIT: Ok, I'm now fully fed up with the gameplay because I am an impatient player. I still recommend if you are more patient than I. And I will continue to listen to the delightful soundtrack, even if I never beat the game.
So this game is a bit rough around the edges for sure. It gets very puzzly and such at some points and the biggest sin is probably not having more clear indicators on what you can interact and how on some levels. But as fair as the concept and such, its explored a good deal and the boss fights are genuinly intresting. If it looks neat give it a go, just know it gets a bit crunchy and jankie at some points.
Fun game.
Pompom just has a cute design and I never had a problem with the gameplay. I like this type of puzzle platformer, even if you have to be careful not to get stuck. When the game is discounted, you can get a few hours of fun for a great price.
This might be the best game ever.
