I've now spent several hours playing the much worse Surroundead; I have to say it's the worst game I've ever played. ... *Mouse sensitivity changes very often, sometimes during combat or when moving around buildings. Turning a corner becomes impossible, and shooting is also impossible. *Very frequent, recurring lags occur, but in the sense that the game freezes for a few seconds or moves forward in small increments, and the character usually just stares into space. *Zombies, unlike in the video where it's suggested they have pathfinding and intelligence, mostly just stand around and walk sideways, with their shoulders facing you. They have no problem with gunfire and don't react to it... dumb as a doorknob. *AI opponents mostly just stand around, and when they do something, they usually just shoot aimlessly. *Weapons: In six hours, you usually only find one assault rifle or some AK. You can attach attachments like in the preview video, but you only find... Magazine The loading system is from Tarkov; you have to fill the magazine completely before it will load it into the weapon. There's also a shootgun, but you get bombarded with AK ammo, and noise level doesn't matter anyway, so that's better. There are also axes, knives, and spears... no pistols or attachments. *The building system is probably the worst thing in EA. You have to craft a toolbox that you can't find; you have to hold it in your hand, and you walk around with it, placing foundations, then walls, doors, and so on. But I never managed to upgrade the walls or build the floor because the walls and foundations are just frames. In terms of construction, there are several things that don't make sense. For example, the circular saw can hold 200 wooden logs for cutting, but the collection bin for the planks only holds up to 100 planks, and any more than that just vanish into thin air. You can only build on foundations, and these don't go too close to houses, so you can't build inside them. Oh, and in build mode, you can only walk slowly and can't jump. Moving objects up and down, like placing a foundation in the ground, is only possible in very large increments. All in all, the whole game is an outrage and should be reported as a game clone. It's a scam, plain and simple. Save your money. ... I quit when, once again, I was well-equipped and fell through the map, only to find myself buried under the city. You can't rebuild through the ground, and the save game was overwritten, so there was no going back. Screw this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.
