POLYBIUS is a fast, trippy tunnel shooter playable on a normal screen or in VR. 50 levels of blissful trance shooting action are set to a blistering soundtrack. The PS4 version was EDGE Magazine's VR GOTY in 2017, and the PC version of the game was even used as the basis for a NIN music video.

I love this game and its music. It’s a joy to play and not very hard, until you get to the level where you have to jump over walls. At that point i found the game to be impossible to continue so I gave up. Still worth the experience of the earlier levels.

Absolutely mesmerizing! One of Llamasoft's best for sure. You can lose yourself in this - completely getting in the zone at breakneck speeds it's wonderful. Put your VR goggles on and treat even more of your senses to a full on sensory buzz! WheeeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEeeeeee
Still a great game. I actually own this on two platforms, PC and PS4, and it is great on both. Get your modern tempest fix.
Took me back to my childhood. The only thing missing was some guys in suits and sunglasses watching me play.
PEOPLE OF STEAM; MEET YOUR NEW ADDICTION! THIS GAME MUST BE EXPERIENCED!
I saw that some fellow Cymry produced this title and simply had to sink my gnashers in. This is a hidden gem that feels like if F-Zero GX, Tetrisphere, and 70s-80s arcade space shooters had a love-child, then sprinkled in SNES Starwing-style models for good measure. Incredibly surreal and flashy game with that UK humour that I absolutely love. It's a serious work of art that brings the urban legend of Polybius to PC. It controls really well and encourages you not to target fixate for even a second: You're shooting down various different tube sorts of stages like a bullet train like a bat out of hell, all while being assaulted with colours and psychedelic elements that are normally reserved for those in the clouds. I like the imagery of a bull charging through these levels too, it gives you a slight feeling of power when your speed is juuuust right. It's good, it's satisfying, and I'll probably be addicted to this by tomorrow morning. I see a fountain of experience in here, and with a quick lookup of the company, my hunch was right. There are two specific issues I want to raise, though: - I think the bull horns could do with being a bit more forgiving. If you bash into the horns, you'll lose a shield and a lot of momentum, but the window for going through one is seriously tight. I like the tightness and risk-reward, but even if I'm dead-on the path I'll sometimes just bonk. Just a smidge, aye? - When opening on PC to configure keyboard controls, it'll give you a full control layout, and many of these controls seem unnecessary for the game. I would prefer if it was slimmed down so that my keybinds are all relevant; this is especially important for a first-time player. Also, they don't save! Bwaaah! Allwn ni gael cyfieithiad Cymraeg hefyd? Diolch~
