Really fun characters, and overall cute and cozy!
I really liked the story and the cozy, cute art. By reading this story through the lens of a robot character with no prior human experiences, the player is asked to check their own assumptions on why humans are expected to behave in certain ways. What feels intuitive or feels normal for many people might not be the case for all people. Overall the game highlights the importance of communication over assumption, and brings into question why some societal norms leave no room for differences.
Say(Express(Emotion.DELIGHT)); 10/10 would drop potatoes in front of Clover again Say(Debug.Process(review)); A lovely little visual novel with charming touches. Especially enjoyed the command line heading and subtle animations.
The short about how the human sounds are all food related is all the more mind blowing now. Made me do some internal reckoning with some of my own personal hang ups so, 10/10. Great work Violet!
Playing through Plus/Minus Zero has been a delightful experience: the art is charming, the writing flows nicely, and I especially enjoy the unique "command line" feature running above Clover's dialogue, which conveys the thoughts/intentions behind her statements. It nicely reinforces the game's focus on the wide breadth of perspectives and experiences a person can have, and how we should question our assumptions about "normal" human behavior.
This is such a fun game!! An interesting kind of "slice of life" with lovable characters and cute moments :)
A nice slice of life visual novel. Feels "low stakes" but also thoughtful and interesting. For some reason I really like how the main menu looks
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it
