Road Trip to the End of the World

OH. MY. GOD. This story is... just... WOW. I won't lie. It made me cry a couple of times as it pulled up old and unfortunate memories from my own past, reminding me of how I lost so much more than I ever gained with some of the immature decisions I made in the five years between 17 & 21. Life's decisions have repercussions, and sometimes the bad decisions are irreversible. Anyways... this is a free Visual Novel with cartoon graphics. You play as Andy ([i]probably short for Andrea[/i]), a 23 year old woman who sets out on a cross-country road trip with her imaginary childhood fish friend, Fishy. They have 4 days to drive all the way from Massachusetts to California to crash the wedding of Andy's best friend, Bora, who she's known since they were 9 year old girls. Well... ex-best friend. Something happened just over a year ago, and they have not spoken to each other since then. The description on the Store Page says this story is about "[i]the death of a friendship[/i]". But is it really the end? Andy has just 4 days to come to grips with what happened between them, and think about what she's going to do and say when she arrives at Bora's wedding. There are some Point & Click elements, like choosing a snack to eat, or a conversation line to say. However, the choices do not matter. In some cases, you will get a few lines of conversation that you won't see otherwise, but they will immediately merge back into the main linear conversation. Other times, you will make all of the choices anyway, just in whatever order you choose them. It will only take you 1 to 2 hours to complete the game, depending on your reading speed and how much you stop to think about the story. Even though the game is so short, you can make saves. There are no achievements, trading cards, or Point Shop items. The game ran perfectly fine for me. I experienced no glitches at all. Lastly, when the credits start to roll, sit and listen to the song.

Çok kısa sürse de bu sene oynadığım en güzel oyunlardan birisi. ama oyun demek pek doğru değil çünkü aslında bir visual book. Ana karakterimiz Andy’nin Bir zamanlar çok yakın olduğu eski en iyi arkadaşının gönderdiği düğün davetiyesi iptal ediliyor. Andy de yanına hayali arkadaşını alıyor. Fishy Bora'yla birlikte arkadaşken yaptıkları hayali balık arkadaşları ve andy onu da alıp düğüne gitmek istiyor. ve açıkcası eskisi kadar en yakın arkadaş olmak istiyor. Aslında bize bir düşmanlık hikayesi anlatmıyor. Neden artık arkadaş değiliz sorusunun arkasında büyük yalanlar yok. Düğün davetimiz geri çekilse de gitme ve sorunları konuşma fikri başlangıçta çok güzel. ama arabada anlıyoruz ki bu yolculuk bir arkadaşlık ve yeniden yakın arkadaş olma değil, aslında bir kabulleniş hikayesi. Düğüne gittiğimizde Bora çoktan başka arkadaşlarıyla düğününü kutluyor ve eğlendiği fotoğrafları görüyoruz zaten. ve hikayenin sonunda Geçmişi zorla canlandırmaya çalışmanın anlamsızlığını fark ediyoruz. Kitap okumayanlar pek sevmez çünkü çok fazla diyalog var. Aradaki esprili diyaloglar da güzeldi. stüdyonun oyunlarını listeme ekledim.

一直很喜欢公路题材，road trip的时候一路向前，路途中停在哪里都是新鲜的体验，在车里随心所欲地听歌或是聊天，只要还没到目的地，时间就仿佛永无尽头。在本作里，Bora的婚礼似乎意味着世界尽头the end of the world，而Andy似乎需要road trip这漫长的仪式来给回忆画上句号。不知道Bora什么时候认定了这段关系的消亡，但是Andy需要closure。多年不见Bora Andy都记不清她长大后的脸了，看到Polaroid照片后她才真的意识到Fishy已经是太久远的过去了吧，时间没有为她们两个停留，她们都要奔赴新的人生，“最好的朋友”在当时是真心的，人和人之间有过真心就够了。知道她过得挺好的，这样真的可以放下了吧。 玩的时候不由自主地一直想到她，想到我们可能永远无法成行的末路狂花road trip，想到曾经每周五天的朝夕相处，想到两个人安静地在花坛边观察虫子，想到一起溜出去玩雪。因为太久没有见面，每次想到她还是会想起刚认识的时候那张青涩稚嫩的脸。虽然见一面很难但是很幸运的是我还和她保持着联系，闲聊点有的没的。代入Andy，如果会和我的Bora失去联系真的会很不甘心let go啊hh “你是我最好的朋友”其实是在说“我真的很爱你”。

This game is well worth playing. There are some really good free games out here and this is one of those. I would have gladly payed for this if I could Is a story about letting things go. About moving on. About figuring out what you want to do with your life. The humor works very well. This game will most likely make you laugh. The dialog is also quiet good. I like the characters in the game. And I wouldnt mine seeming them for one more small journey. The music is also good quiet Prepare for a game that is quiet emotinal and sad at the end. Well worth playing.
