About
PLATFORM 0 - is a first-person horror experience focused on tension, stealth, and environmental storytelling. You play as a lone survivor trapped in a massive underground metro system haunted by a mysterious ghost train.
There are no weapons. Your main tools are silence, awareness, and the environment itself.
Exploration: Navigate abandoned stations, dark tunnels, and derelict utility rooms in search of a way out.
Stealth Survival: Make too much noise, and the ghost train will find you. Crouch, hide, and listen carefully to survive.
Traps & Scare Points: Some areas offer light and supplies. Others are bait for terrifying ambushes.
Interactive Items: Use tools to unlock new paths, solve simple environmental puzzles, or distract threats.
Dynamic Threat: The ghost train isn’t bound to a single track — it roams. It hears. It hunts.
This is not a shooter. It’s a horror game where survival comes from being quiet, thinking fast, and paying attention to every sound in the darkness.

At the time of this review, the game isn't worth buying just yet. The images and videos you see on the store page for this game are misleading--the only accurate part is the abandoned subway system. The "peeking" mechanic as seen in the trailer just turns you 90 degrees in the direction of the button you pressed. The battery for the flashlight drains too quickly. Once you learn the mechanics--including that you can only pick up one of each item, it leads to strategic play rather than fear of the unknown. It also suffers from many bugs. Play the demo instead if you want to try it yourself. 4/10
I'm not sure which part of this game was not made by Ai I keep getting stuck in places and having to restart, it's tedious Also I think all the good reviews are botted loooool
Atmosphere is great nice spooky environment game feels good haven't done a puzzle yet. My only complaint the flashlight loses power way too fast. Plays great on Steam Deck over 70 FPS without lossless scaling. 7.5/10
"this is not the backrooms why am i falling through the floor" - me, urge to kill rising, probably As you can see from my playtime, I've been kind of playing this a lot, but it's not for the reason you might think. Sometimes I leave it on in the background (I do this with most games). Anyway, part of the reason I've been doing this is because the game is uh... dull. Very dull. I feel like I don't want to be excessively harsh here, but there are a lot of moments where I was soft-locked, including where you are given the option to open a door, and you immediately fall a little bit into the floor, and you're stuck there. And then when you exit out the game, it's saved where you are, so now you're soft-locked and you have to start the entire game over again. Long story short: * It's a bunch of fetch quests. Go here, get note. Find fuses. Turn on electricity. Move on to next area. * Teaser images are misleading, you don't hold your flashlight up, you just walk around and turn it on and off invisibly. * So many bugs, it's really easy to get stuck and have to either turn the game off and reload from your last checkpoint, or get soft-locked and have to restart entirely. At one point my compass pointed to a specific spot, and because I was on a pipe at the time, I think the next plot beat broke, so again - soft-locked. * Not particularly frightening, and the walking along the "haunted track" feels a little weak as it becomes more of a necessity to just avoid rather than to feel intimidated by it. As an initial project, I feel like there's a lot of room for growth here, and I appreciate the addition of: * OST (there's reasonable detail put into sound design and soundtrack) * Voice acting * Rabbit hole lore (you're lured in by more and more of the story) * The additions of multiple antagonistic entities It's just that there're quite a few inconsistencies, and while I appreciate the work that's gone into it, there's definitely more work to be done. 3/10
An excellent game set in abandoned tunnels and stations. Excellent atmosphere and graphics. The game constantly keeps you on edge, and sometimes it's impossible to stay silent. There are also traps lurking at almost every turn. 8/10
PLATFORM 0 from CGI LAB GAMES is a psychological horror experience that builds its identity around tension, isolation, and the quiet dread of being somewhere you shouldn’t exist. Set within an abandoned underground train station that seems detached from reality, the game avoids traditional horror tropes and instead leans into subtle unease, asking players to navigate a space that feels both familiar and fundamentally wrong. It’s less about surviving overt threats and more about enduring an atmosphere that constantly suggests something is off, even when nothing obvious is happening. The premise is deliberately minimal: you awaken in a hidden metro platform—one that isn’t supposed to be part of any known system—and your only goal is to find a way out. From there, the game unfolds through exploration, with players moving through dimly lit platforms, service corridors, and looping spaces that don’t always behave logically. The lack of direct storytelling is intentional, with narrative elements delivered through environmental clues, distorted announcements, and scattered fragments of information. This fragmented approach encourages players to interpret events for themselves, turning the experience into a slow process of piecing together what this place is and why it exists. Gameplay is stripped down to its essentials, focusing almost entirely on movement, observation, and avoidance. There are no weapons, no combat systems, and very little in the way of direct interaction. Instead, the tension comes from navigating the environment while remaining aware of an unseen or partially revealed presence that reacts to sound and movement. This forces players to proceed carefully, turning even small actions—like walking too quickly or making unnecessary noise—into potential risks. The absence of traditional mechanics heightens the sense of vulnerability, as there are few tools available beyond awareness and restraint. What truly defines PLATFORM 0 is its atmosphere. The game transforms an ordinary setting into something deeply unsettling through subtle distortions. Flickering lights, distant echoes, and irregular audio cues create a constant sense of instability, making it difficult to trust what you’re seeing or hearing. The environment often feels like it’s shifting in small, almost imperceptible ways, reinforcing the idea that the space itself is not entirely real. This approach allows the game to build tension without relying heavily on jump scares, instead creating a persistent feeling of discomfort that lingers throughout the experience. However, the same minimalist design that gives the game its identity also limits its scope. The gameplay loop remains largely unchanged from beginning to end, with little in the way of new mechanics or evolving challenges. While the atmosphere remains effective, the lack of variation can make the experience feel repetitive over time. Exploration and avoidance are the primary activities, and without additional layers or systems, the game risks losing momentum once players become familiar with its structure. The game’s unfinished state further contributes to this sense of limitation. Rough edges in pacing, occasional technical inconsistencies, and a relatively small amount of content make it feel more like an early framework than a fully developed experience. There are clear ideas at play, and moments where the design comes together in a compelling way, but these are not always sustained across the entire runtime. It’s evident that the game is aiming for something more expansive, even if it hasn’t fully reached that point yet. Despite these shortcomings, PLATFORM 0 manages to leave an impression through its focused vision. When the atmosphere, sound design, and pacing align, it creates genuinely tense moments that rely on anticipation rather than spectacle. The emphasis on silence and uncertainty gives the experience a distinct tone, one that feels more introspective than confrontational. It’s a style of horror that doesn’t try to overwhelm the player, but instead unsettles them gradually. In the end, PLATFORM 0 is a game defined by its concept and mood rather than its mechanics. It offers a unique take on psychological horror, built around subtle environmental storytelling and a strong sense of place, but it struggles to maintain that impact over time due to its limited systems and unfinished feel. For players who appreciate slow, atmospheric experiences and are willing to accept its rough edges, it can be an intriguing and occasionally haunting journey. For others, it may feel too narrow in scope to fully satisfy. Rating: 6/10
You are trapped in a forgotten subway system, where a ghost train wanders through the tunnels, reacting to your every move. Explore the dark corridors, avoid traps and keep quiet — only silence will help you survive.
the game looks pretty nice and modern, which is a big plus. The gameplay is pretty fun and addictive over time. I really enjoyed it.
