Prepare to defend the solar system against invaders! The solar system, which has been living in peace for years, is occupied by robots sent by an advanced civilization. There are 4 different planets in this star system that you have to defend.
Between mountains, forests, glaciers, and deserts, you must defend your lands and fend off invaders in order to achieve victory and set your civilization free again. While making your defense, you should use 6 different towers in the most strategic way.
By paying attention to resource management and making tower upgrades correctly. You have to place the towers in the correct positions.
Tower rarity mechanic: Each tower starts with 1st level rarity at the beginning of the game, this level can be improved with in-game experience.
There are 4 different colors for each tower: blue, green, red and yellow. As you go from blue to green, the towers get stronger.
When you build the tower during the game, a tower of these 4 colors is produced depending on the rarity level of that tower. The higher the level, the higher the probability of getting a yellow tower. As the power of the towers increases with the colors, the amount of back sales also increases.
When you produce a yellow tower, you can sell it for a higher price than your purchase price. At this point, tactics come into play. Will you strengthen your economy and fight with more towers or will the strong tower be enough for you?

Not very well balanced. Maps and enemies were repetitive. Achievements were a boring grind. Overall not good.
Have they announced yet when they will release the game from alpha?
I'm torn whether to recommend this game. At its current pricepoint (~€2.5 with frequent discounts) most of its shortcomings can probably be overlooked, but then again there's tons of free games in the genre that offer a better experience. It can be simple, straight-forward fun for a while, but don't expect a special or even polished experience. This game feels like a cheap mobile game, both for its controls and scope. It's simple, but that's okay - what is disappointing is the overall "rushed development" feeling one gets while playing it. It appears to have been made for a game jam, but not developed further - if you're okay with this, getting it for €1-2 is alright. - Visuals: Few, repeated assets, though the lo-poly aesthetic works. - UI: Bad. The mouse cursor is too small and doesn't stand out, and is hard to spot sometimes. The tower range preview is wrong; two towers with a different range (e.g. if one of them is upgraded) will have the same range preview when placing. Once placed, one can't see the stats or even the type of tower (at least the type can be visually identified, but that's also hard especially for beginners). - Gameplay: Straight-forward, static placement of towers and movement of enemies. Can change speed between 1x and 2x, but not pause (only by calling the menu, but not to place/upgrade any towers). - Bugs: Sometimes couldn't click on "Release wave", which meant having to quit and re-start the level (just restarting didn't fix it either). Source towers sometimes don't generate income. - Settings: Very few; can select language and only four hotkeys - that's it. - Hotkeys: Horrible. Of the four hotkeys, two ("Release wave" and "Slow down") don't seem to work, so all one can do with the keyboard is to toggle the game-speed, the rest has to be done with the tiny, difficult to spot mouse cursor in real-time. - Languages: Tried only one that I'm familiar with, and the words don't fit the label width, so they sometimes get cut off, and sometimes get extended over the label. Words of a third language are mixed in, punctuation is spotty, so is spelling. Appears to never have been proof-read. It's a pity because most of the above points are easy to address and with a few extra days of polish this could've been a decent (albeit simple) game. As it stands though, the bug report thread hasn't been gotten a reply since 2023, so the current version 1.05 is probably the final one.
It's just not a very good TD game, gameplay is really dull, towers are only allowed in set position. It is worse than a lot of mobile TD games unfortunately eg Kingdom Rush or Iron Marines
its pretty good
Planet TD is one of those games I downloaded just to mess around with—and now I keep coming back to it. It’s simple to pick up, but once you start figuring out the best tower setups and trying to beat your own runs, it gets really addictive. If you’re into tower defense or just want something low-stress but still satisfying, this is 100% worth checking out. I’ve had a great time with it so far, and I’ll definitely keep it in my rotation.
Good.
Very good tower defence game. It is very addictive. I have great time playing in this game.
This was a fast Tower Defence game that if you don't look before how much diffrent tower does in damage or got lucky you probaly going to die first time playing for when you start building towers, they are so weak you need think where you place it and you could finish the game in under 3 hours with beating all planets if you play casual
