Its fun. Its got room for polish, sure. The dev seems to be doing stuff. Kill planets. Do it. Your never going to get to do it in real life. Seize the day!
Great pickuup and play game, log in before work blow up a few planets save and play a bit again after work. Would not have bought this game if there was not a demo, great gameplay choose your ship based on your gameplay and choose between missiles, prrojectiles and beams. The transmitions from the planets are also very intresting. Great game would recomend to anyone who just wants a game where you just want to blow stuff up.
Really funny and replayable game. There's just some flaws: after some planets enemies simply one shot you, and the bullets are extremely hard to see, even if the background is the black of space. But yeah, still good

Slow ships are almost unplayable, so weak and slow that you get hit by everything and die in one hit out of no where also. Edit. Nevermind, maybe if I wasn't an idiot and hugging the planet, I can survive while hitting the planet across the whole map with proper weapons.
Fun Game with lots of replayability. Too many different ships to count, only a few initially, many need to be unlocked by playing and collecting the in game currency. So many different play styles are possible. Weapon and other systems are so numerous there has to be literally several billion combinations. It's got a great price point too! Even better if you catch it on sale.
It's not a bad game. It is relatively fun. The biggest complaint I could possibly have, is that the Heavy Ships are WAY easier to play than any of the others. Yes they are light fighters and frigates, so they naturally have less HP and such, but they have no real "Dodge" factor due to the AI's relatively good aim. It is much easier to just, run a dreadnaught and unlock everything since the dreadnaughts can last WAY WAY longer. It's hard to enjoy the smaller ships. This is the kind of review I wish I could give a "Neutral" choice on, because that's how it makes me feel. Half the game is good, half the game is bad. While one could just say "Then be more careful", being able to do over 40 Planets with no real thinking behind it for dreadnaughts, and then playing Space Darksouls with smaller ships is a REALLY split gameplay loop. Especially for Stealth Ships, where 5 seconds of no lock on isn't that great in the long run. Not getting targeted until you fire would be far more useful to set up your positioning if you lack a fleet.
Demo was fun, difficulty was going up some what linear. After release its still fun, until something from off screen one-shots you.
Really like the game, while there is no tutorial most of the game is easy to understand and the developer has been talking to those who leave a message, which is helpful.
If your sleeping on this, just get it. it's worth the $10. Lots of ships to unlock and you basically become a God at the end.
Initially I started blowing up the plants because it was fun. Then I started to resent the plants trying to defend themselves. So now I kill the plants because I think they deserve it. Dev is responsive and fixing things quick. Would recommend for anyone that wants a casual, entertaining, and fun distraction while they procrastinate.
