DLCfest and then re-releasing the same game over and over again for more money and more DLCs. Lame.
there is no tutorial or explanation on how to do things or what influences guest opinion of your rides

The game is deeper and bigger than I expected. I suggest starting with the vanilla version and turning off all the DLCs, because even then it’s already overwhelming, and the game offers little to no tutorial for its many features and mechanics. This is my first Planet Coaster experience, honestly, if my children hadn’t pushed me to play it, I wouldn’t have tried, I'm a bad designer with a poor taste for art, but I do love managing stuff and this game not only made me love designing but in the end it made me keep coming back playing and having connection with my park. If you’re like me and just starting out, I recommend beginning with “Challenge” mode instead of Career. Take it slow: get familiar with the short-cut, features, mechanics, and economy. Once you’ve built a small, stable park, then start tackling the challenges. Doing them too early can wreck your economy, while doing them too late, when your park is huge, can make them unnecessarily difficult. For example, keeping staff happiness at 97% in a sprawling, chaotic park, or maintaining scenery ratings across a massive layout, becomes a real headache. Pacing is the key. Once you learn to pace yourself; balancing park-building with challenge completion, you’ll find the game both delightful and amazing. And even in 2026, Planet Coaster still feels fresh and valid. I believe it will remain enjoyable for at least another decade. This is a master-piece.
It's a good game with solid building and free range, however I feel like animatronics could have better and smoother motions, like modern day ones, and also more options for what they are doing and what they look like would be nice. Auto-Tunneling through the underground could be better and the camera tracking could also be worked on a bit more. But other than those few minor tweaks and kinks its an awesome game!
would be better if it was planet taco and instead of roller coasters it was taco i mean maaaaaaybe worth at msrp if you like really really love this kind of game but not it for me and i hate hate hate the stupid golf ball i want the golf ball to die be warned every time you start the game you have to see the STUPID ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GOLF BALL i'm actually seething as i write this review i hate the golf ball hate. Let me tell you how much I've come to hate the golf ball since I began to know of it. There are 6 feet of height that make up my human body. If the word 'hate' was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those heights it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for the golf ball at this micro-instant. For the mascot. Hate. Hate.
Planet Coaster really needs a tutorial, and instead of having one there's a button that sends you to a youtube playlist that does not exist. I think Frontier learned its lesson here, because I also have Jurassic World Evolution 2, and that whole game is a tutorial. NPCs look like rejects from a GrubHub commercial, and I struggle to complete challenges at greater than a snail's pace (NO TUTORIALS, REMEMBER). Game thinks the point of designing an AMUSEMENT park is to constantly tell me guests are losing interest in my rides (erm, is that ride older than five months? Hecking yikes, man...) and employees are unhappy with their wages.
This game is a blast if you're into creating things from scratch. My only complaint is the management system. It forces you to micro manage each employee. This takes away focus from the overall park building experience.
