Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.38/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Transform a Barren World into a Thriving Planet
Plan B: Terraform is a calm and contemplative sci-fi simulation game set in a near future where humanity must look beyond Earth for survival. Your mission: shape a newly discovered planet into a habitable world. Explore a vast, hex-based terrain with over a million tiles and harness a full ecosystem simulation.
Shape Climate, Water, and Life
Raise global temperatures with greenhouse gas generators, unlock underground ice to form flowing rivers and vast oceans, and restore vegetation across the land. Experience dynamic weather systems, including evaporation, wind patterns, and rainfall. Turn a lifeless rock into a living world covered in forests, rivers, and oceans.
Build Supply Chains and Grow Cities
Extract minerals, manufacture goods, and move them with trucks, trains, drones, and ships. Establish automated supply lines to support expanding cities, transforming small outposts into thriving metropolises with populations in the millions. Every stage of growth depends on your ability to manage logistics, optimize infrastructure, and keep automation running smoothly.

I played a bit before 1.0 and wasn't in love with it, but they've made a lot of great improvements and I'm really enjoying it now. If you played before 1.0, I'd recommend giving it another go. The things that set Plan B: Terraform apart from other factory automation games (for me) are the fun logistics, the evolving terrain, and the "recycling" dynamic. The terrain was a real nuisance before the introduction of dams and pumps, but now it has a sprinkling of terraforming in there that gives you more agency (and makes the terrain a lot more interesting.) For logistics, I'll use a popular/difficult example: setting up a four-way, bi-directional train intersection. In other popular factory automation games, this requires a fair amount of tweaking and experimentation to get right (when you're first trying it out.) In PBT, the game takes care of that for you - just lay rail down to connect your factories, add a few train routes, and goods are moving. The focus then becomes throughout and scale. I think there are some who would find that a relief, and others who enjoy the nitty-gritty details more, so take this example as you will. This applies to truck routes as well.

get thumbed gud game
A simple, relaxing, surprisingly compelling factory/colony sim. I'm not sure why it works, but it does.
Fun and satisfying to watch the world change.

This game has everything that casual player wants. Its not that hard for logistic like Dyson Sphere Program but harder than openttd. Soundtrack for this game is very good and feeling of game too, story is also good but it is not story game.I would 100% recommend this game.
3/5 It's a charming logistics game, but is relatively simplistic and leaves a lot to be desired. Terraforming is used as a draw, but takes a back seat to city management. The basic premise of the game is that you are terraforming the planet. You build from "god mode", meaning you can just place things wherever you want, subject to terrain. You cannot craft yourself though, so you need to place factories to make the things you want and have the raw materials brought to them, etc. Basic logistics stuff. The draw for me is the terraforming - you are essentially changing the climate on this planet. Unfortunately, there isn't much of it. You basically set up a few green house gas plants and increase the temperature until the ice caps melt. Then you can place some trees. That's it really. The game is mostly city management. You'll be setting up supply lines etc to feed the cities. New technology is more often tied to the city status and population, rather than the planet status. So, while there is terraforming, it's not the focus of the game. I think it's worth your time, but don't expect mind blowing complexity. I think I bought it for $20. That's a good price in my opinion.
