PixelJunk Shooter is a charming twin-stick exploration game where the real star is the fluid physics — watching lava and water interact dynamically, cooling your ship or solidifying into new terrain you can blast through, never gets old. The controls feel smooth and responsive, and rescuing stranded scientists while hunting for hidden gems gives each level a satisfying sense of purpose. It's on the easier side and can be finished in around 3-4 hours, but the laid-back pace works in its favor — this is the kind of game you settle into rather than fight through. My one practical warning: PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate is available on Steam for the same price and includes this game plus a full sequel, so unless you have a specific reason to grab this version, that's the smarter buy.

Esse jogo me traz muita nostalgia! jogava ele no ps3 com meu pai, zeramos o jogo três vezes (estou indo completar a quarta agora) e par mim as fazes com os poderes são as mais divertidas, amo ficar brincando com eles depois de já ter completado a faze e é divertido ficar procurando pelos diamantes.

Es un juego corto pero entretenido, fluido y fácil de entender. Es una lastima que el personaje se muera con un toque o dos, eso lo hace un poco tedioso, pero sigue siendo bueno aún así. Lo recomiendo si no te gustan los juegos demasiado complejos.

Good gameplay but too short for the cost.

This is a great little I first played on Playstation. I am a big fan of Pixeljunk because of this game and Pixeljunk Monsters. This game does a good job of gradually scaling up the complexity and difficulty from a pretty easy start. My big surprise with this game was how appealing the couch co-op was to the young kids I occasionally spend time with. This quickly became a favorite due to the teamwork and straight forward nature of the gameplay.
