I grinned the whole time playing this the whole time. I even said "I love this" as I played. There is so much goodness in this game. It's like a clown car of innovations. How much novelty can a dev squeeze into one game? Hold his beer as he the dev shows you how. Strap in and get ready for continuous pleasant surprises.

I love when a game takes the necessary time to fully explore its gimmicks, but I also love when a game has lots of gimmicks and doesn't overuse them. This game is a rare case of both.

Wonderful game with many creative stage gimmicks that are thoroughly explored. It is also very accessible for brand new players to the Schmup genre thanks to customizable shield size, so It could be a great introduction to the genre. If you are still on the fence about buying this game, the demo contains the full first 3 worlds of the game, so you can see the game's quality for yourself before deciding to buy it. In my honest opinion, the demo alone is incredibly fun, and the full game has much more of that great design!

A shmup with a bunch of interesting twists. As someone who likes shmups but isn't great at them, the default settings/difficulty were about right for me, and the "Harder" difficulty was a challenge.

é difícil achar um shmup recente que varia e refina suas mecânicas tanto quanto eigengrau, todos os níveis (tirando o tutorial) tem seu truque especifico e os chefes das áreas conectam todas elas em uma luta coesiva, o jogo aproveita basicamente 100% de suas mecânicas recontextualizando elas através dos níveis, dos troféus e das tarefas, mt bom.

Although It's not exactly my kind of SHMUP, It's very creative and entertaining with how it constantly mixes up the gameplay with bullet-hell, so much so that I can't bring myself to give this a negative rec even though I'm unlikely to load it up again for a second run. I made it to the boss of stage 3 on the easier of the 2 difficulties. Music is so-so, sounds very filler, it could be better. Visually could have more stylistic appeal for me too. Artistically it looks vibrant and colourful yet kinda generic. I think aside from that, my biggest issue is that every screen feels like the same one, like an arcade game, whereas I much prefer exploring a level, a planet, something to add a layer of depth and food for the imagination. This is a dev I'm keen to keep an eye on, because the creativity is there in the gameplay. I hope they put some effort into designing actual worlds and pair up with more inspired artists and musicians for their future work.

Even just from the first hour-ish of playing this game, I can only say it is genuinely amazing. The sheer amount of creativity and "whoa that is cool" moments in this thing are just insane. You can really tell just how much effort went into this and how polished it is. There are also tons of bonus objectives and seemingly secrets (?) that I have yet to uncover and the replay value is really good too from what it seems. Another really cool thing is that the game detects which keyboard layout you use and adjusts the default settings based on that. That's not really a concern for most players, but I really appreciate it and it shows how much effort went into the gameplay experience. There is one minor thing with the first boss though, where some of the attacks can be pretty surprising and not really telegraphed well, but that's nitpicking in comparison to just how good this game is.
