Awkward and combat that feels like being constipated in real life is only the beginning of what all is wrong and bad with this game. Short Version (11 min): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=154vLeQzD_Q First Impressions & Long Version & Ideas For Dev Making It Better (52 min): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0W9TMw57ioU - Invisible walls. Ugh. - You can see the edge of the small maps even though you can't fall off because of the above mentioned invisible walls. If you're gonna let us see the edge of the world, please just let us walk off and fall forever so we have a reason to quit! That's a "win" to me! - Coins to collect for NO reason what-so-ever. We can't even see how many coins we've collected! ..WHY?!?! - Your character has no health and can hit infinitely without even a scratch. You NEVER die. WHY?!!? ..Where is the challenge in that? - Your character cannot run. Shift does absolutely nothing! ..ARGH! Again.. Why?!? - Your character can walk through trees and even walk on air! (See the video) - Enemy AI is abysmal and you can just walk right past them with no threat or reason to fight them. - No score, combat is a terrible experience and serves no purpose, collecting the coins does nothing, everything serves no purpose in this game and just leaves me wondering WHY?!? Why was this game made because it damn sure isn't fun! - I beat the game in 30 minutes mindlesssly running around my first time. I played it again, and I beat it in only 9 minutes! ..But there's no reason to play again. The developer saying there's an "hour and a half" of content is a bold faced LIE. (Source: https://imgur.com/rbvaTrH ) I admire that this developer DID put effort into this but he needs to really focus on making sure the player has a FUN experience playing his game. He needs to enjoy playing his own game himself before asking any amount of money for it here on Steam. I mean if he doesn't even enjoy playing his own game, and how could he?.. But if he doesn't enjoy playing his own game here, how can he expect anyone else to enjoy playing it?? NOT RECOMMEND. My Score: 0.5 out of 10, or essentially a 5% score. * I did give this developer ideas on easy things he can do to make this game ten times better at the end of the above video ..Does this indie developer care about his game or making it more fun? ..Time will tell!
What a game. Innovative and smooth combat. A thrilling story that will live rent free in your head for the next years. Unparalleled enemy design. Truly a great game
I like the ocean :)
As a Pirate of Carribean fan, I must say that this product delivers on fan service. Many memorable characters from all sorts of Pirate fiction make an appearance (i.e Black Beard, Jolly Rodger, Jack Sparrow, etc.). That being said, the game has a few glaring problems that I will list off. 1. The game is too long, 9 minutes of gameplay is far too long for the short attention span that many gamers have these days. 2. The graphics requirement is quite intense, do not buy this game if you have a lower end pc 3. (Spoiler) the game leaves off on a very big cliffhanger, when can we expect a sequel??? All that being said, I would recommend this game for any gamer that enjoys exploration, RPG, puzzle solving type of games (the castle level took me a long time to figure out). Thank you for delivering such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game!
топ игра советую всем
Too difficult. My 7 year old lobotomised son got me to beat him for it. He kept losing then made me mad with how weak he is. My wife came in and saw so i beat her too. Then i completed the game in 15 minutes (first 7 minutes was me beating my son, the next 3 was me beating my wife. The final 5 was me defeating the final boss.) This game was so hard and long, like i was after i completed it. Thank you for this masterpiece.
absolute beauty. i would play anytime of the season. my heart chirped after this
Ahoy, mateys! Let me regale ye with the tale of my epic journey through the $3 masterpiece known as "Pirate Adventures in Madagascar." For just the price of a sad cup of coffee, I embarked on a swashbuckling odyssey that somehow managed to stretch into a whopping 20 hours. Talk about value for doubloons! First off, the graphics are what you might call “retro,” or as I like to think of them, “made by a very determined hamster with a crayon.” The landscapes of Madagascar were vibrant enough that I briefly wondered if I had stumbled into a psychedelic fever dream. Seriously, I’m pretty sure I fought a giant chicken at one point, and that was only the first hour! The plot? Well, let’s just say it was as tangled as the pirate’s beard. You play as Captain Squawkbeak (yes, you read that right), a treasure-hunting pirate who has a special affinity for coconuts and dramatic monologues. Between chasing after dubious treasure maps and engaging in utterly absurd dialogue with island natives, I felt like I was living in a combination of “Pirates of the Caribbean” and a Saturday morning cartoon. The combat mechanics were, how do I put this delicately… unique? Imagine a clumsy ballet dancer attempting to swordfight while riding a unicycle. My character’s special move was a wildly flailing attack that looked like a mix between a disco dance-off and a toddler having a tantrum. Somehow, this unorthodox approach led to victory more often than not, which is both comforting and terrifying. As for the side quests, let me tell you: I’ve never been so invested in gathering “special pirate socks” for a random NPC. Who knew socks were the key to hidden treasures? Spoiler alert: they weren’t, but they did lead me to a boss fight with a disgruntled parrot named Polly the Pirate Slayer. Yeah, that was a thing. In conclusion, “Pirate Adventures in Madagascar” is a chaotic, absurd gem that took 20 hours of my life and left me with a deep appreciation for questionable design choices. For $3, I got a pirate adventure that felt like a long, hilarious fever dream—and honestly, I wouldn’t trade it for a treasure chest full of gold. If you’re looking for a game that’s as silly as it is entertaining, grab your eye patch and set sail! Just be prepared for an experience that will leave you both baffled and belly-laughing.
