this might be all over the place, as my longer reviews tend to be, so bare with me lol i absolutely can't wait to see the direction this game goes. i love the way everything is set up so far, and there doesn't seem to be too many pacing issues in my eyes. i absolutely adore how present changes are depending on the choices you make, and was surprisingly shocked (in a very good way), at how much changes depending on what choice you make. for example, [spoiler]i lost the pumpkin man game on my first run and got to see chris (ashley's brother). on my second run, i kept going until i fully beat the game and got to run into peter; as a result of this, i did not get to see chris. there were also changes in the dialogue which was super cool to see![/spoiler] the voice acting is also really nice. the voice actress for eva's mom really does a good job bring that exhausted mom energy through in her voice acting. the vas all fit their character super well; great casting on the devs end as for the gore, it did get to me during my second run, when [spoiler]eva's dad quite literally had a hole in his arm and the bone was showing and it was broken[/spoiler] but other than that it's not too bad imo. just speed through and try and absore the info as fast as you can if you're queasy like me. or speed through and go read everything through the log i love how, when the devs make certain references such as the cult movie the gang watched, they'll highlight that dialogue. what that does is make it clickable and lets you learn about it! as someone who was born in the early 2000s, this is really helpful to me lol in terms of negatives, there are a few spelling errors and gramatical issues here and there (my favorite one was beasties instead of besties because i sometimes end up typing that before correcting it). sometimes it does take a couple of clicks to get dialogue moving again. other than that no other pressing issues! over all, im super excited to see more from the devs and see how eva, brian, ashley, and michael's story progress!

Очень красиво, респект всем художникам и аниматорам, история в целом интересная, интересно что дальше, но много воды в попытках нагнетания саспенса и описательных штук. Не прошел первую главу на все варианты, но из того что видел реиграбельность уже мое почтение. Очень крепко 4/5 P.S. Уб*йства детей очень смело. Минус балл за воду и очень странно, в игре нет кнопки скипа уже прочитанных диалогов, либо я не нашел, вот это бы добавить, если ещё не исправили патчами.

Was really looking for something that could scratch the itch Scarlet Hollow left and this game delivered, looking forward to the next update

I *want* to like this, really I do. I admit to not understanding why Unity and FMOD are part of a visual novel game with no choice in the first five "acts" of gameplay. These acts are short, involve no clear branching paths, and a pacman game that does not seem to have the same tracking fidelity as the original (meaning it is easier). By the time the VHS had abruptly ended three scenes in, and I was in Eva's room, I experienced a gamebreaking bug. The game forces you to highlight and read what's on screen, and after selecting her VHS tapes, nothing worked. No clicks. I tried different Steam compatibilities, using my desktop -- nada. So that was it. I think so far this is a very superficial story, good ambiance but no real investment, and if it is mirroring Italian cinematic horror devices, it still needs a bit more depth. Maybe I will come back when it is finished.

Многословным не буду, у игры есть потенциал поскорее бы доделали игру до конца, на очень интересном месте закончили рассказ 1 главы. В общем: 1) Сюжет 4\5 2) Рисовка 5\5 (мне нравится такая, сугубо мое мнение) 3) подбор голосов 5\5 4) стиль игры 5\5 (некое ретро) Все топ, играть можно, купил прошёл первый эпизод за час, бэкап денег и не планирую делать, думаю стоит поддержать разрабов за интересный проект

Lovely and captivating visual novel with all hand drawn art. I can't wait for the next episode.

Хоть я и не любитель новелл, но данная игра очень зацепила своими оттенками и атмосферой. С первой главы затягивает в маленький городок под названием Ривервуд, в котором живут главные герои. Рисовка, музыкальное сопровождение, текст притягивают и зазывают в эту историю вместе с героями. Персонажи выглядят живыми, хочется узнать о них побольше. Нагнетающая и в то же время спокойная музыка придает живости местам которые посещают подростки. Очень понравились образы монстров в доме Евы, действительно выглядят жутко:) В общем и целом, видно, что над проектом старались и хотели передать всю тайну и мистику. У них это и получилось;)
