Ping 1.5 is a retro looking game where you have bounce a cube around to either hit an objective or clear enemies (bosses). The gameplay is simple enough and it is entertaining in the beginning. The bouncing is kind of cool and there are nice sound effects that go along with it. The game is easy enough, minus one boss level which just seems like quite the hassle. The graphics fit for the kind of game it is meant to be and the music for the game is pretty good. On the other hand, the game gets kind of boring after a couple of playthroughs because it becomes more of a grind than fun. The game ends up playing out pretty similar each level so past an hour or so, you might get bored of the game. Overall, not a bad game, but can get repetitive and boring. Rating: 7.1/10 Recommend Price: $0.49 or under

JUEGAZO 😎👍💛🌟
Incredibly simple and mostly luck-based 'game'. If you gave me this for nothing, I would pay you to take it back. PS. I idled it for cards so I certainly haven't played it for 5.2 hours! I mean, I honestly think you'd die if you 'played' it that much.
指定された回数でキューブをバウンドさせてゴールへぶつける そこそこ爽快感もあるし値段のわりには楽しめるのだが 個人的にこの作品の最大の魅力はバッジ作成した時の絵文字
PING 1.5+™ is a badly made, lazy 2.5D/low poly/minimalist puzzle platformer that leverages an Angry Birds style slingshot to move your cube around (yeah, the developer didn't know how to do video game graphics so we just get cubes). So somehow in the game design process, the developer decided to do something shallower than any platformer, and yet also deficient compared to mobile apps like Angry Birds. And then, instead of shredding the concept and going back to working at McDonalds, they dumped this crap on Steam, for money, worsening the average quality of all video games everywhere. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy minimalist/untextured low-polygon "retro" assets and visuals, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the early 1990s. The lack of textures is a method that lazy devs often use to disguise their lack of talent/interest in doing the graphics properly and trying to disguise it under the name of "art", or "We made it look bad on purpose", which really isn't something gamers should have to put up with. It's unclear why the developers weren't willing to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets and high resolution textures for the game. It looks bad as a result of their decisions, and that's just another reason to avoid it. This looks and feels like a mobile app, but it doesn't seem to have made it to the app stores. It's unclear why this was put on Steam instead of the app stores it seems to have been designed for. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all). Regardless, for all intents and purposes PING 1.5+™ might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones and play games that might as well be mobile apps. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. You don't have to take my word about how bad the game is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. PING 1.5+™ has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for dying (something that playing this game will certainly make you feel like doing), trivial to achieve, but less than 5 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch. Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this isn't consistent with the achievement stats, that show less than 5 percent of players bothered playing the game for any reasonable amount of time. How is it possible for this game to have so many concurrent players who weren't even playing the game? Trading cards. Players will use card idling software to collect the cards and sell them, but this won't trigger any achievements in-game. That tells us people only really bought this game for trading cards, and that's a damning indictment of the woeful quality. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards. PING 1.5+™ has the laughable price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam.

Morlan's shorts:

It was alright-ish (mostly luck to hit the right spot) and then it got infuriating at the "Asteroids" level..NO! Doesn't respect the player's time. The music is retro-fun for a while but I wouldn't be playing this if I didn't get it for free or some really cheap bundle. It may look cute/captivating but there's not much to play and challenge you. Try-try-try and succeed..Certainly not worth 5 coins. Only if you find it very very cheap.. Don't waste more time reading lengthy reviews.. time is of the essence!
