Pinball universe

i got this game from a random key pack on ebay. it's worth what i paid for it but certainly not 20 bucks like in the steam store. you can't mute the music. and i can't use my controller at all. Not all of the different pinball games work correctly. one of them locks up the flappers until after the ball is fully lost and you have to pull again. the game controls are literally S for left flipper, L for right flipper and enter for shooting the ball.... space seems to do something too... if they fixed these problems it would be a solid game for 99 cents.

This is nothing but a lazy, broken asset flip of the Unity Pinball Creator pack. Pinball universe is an extremely basic pinball table built in Unity. So basic in fact that it has zero controller support -- even MS-DOS based pinball tables had this. Not P-u, which decided optimal controls are S for the left flipper and L for the right flipper. At least it tells you about those controls, it doesn't mention anywhere that space is an upwards nudge, and that you can control camera views with the C button. P-u has two tables. Green, which is boring, and Dream, which is broken. Let's get into Dream first. It is so broken that you can only play one ball on it, after losing it the game locks up. You can TRY to launch another ball with the enter key, but it will likely just crash the game. Oh, and hitting enter will reset the game at any time. Green is boring. It plays the very simplest mechanical pinball table and features boring modes and a ramp that is off-angle so the ball exits in a way where it completely bypasses the top flipper that SHOULD allow you to control the ball a bit more. P-u? Should be pee-ew.

It is a ok flipper game with 2 tables offered. The controls are very basic with S for left, L for right, Return to start and space to bump the flipper. No other controls available or changeable. Which means, no reduction of the music volume etc.. It's a asset flip of the Unity Pinball Creator pack. The price of 16,79€ is absurd high for the offered game. Max. 1€ - 2€ would be ok. I love pinball games; apart from break outs and 2D space shmup's and maybe tower defense games they are among my favourite arcade games. If I had my way and had enough money I'd open up a pinball parlour with real pinball machines liberally sprinkled with all the famous cabinet games like Space Invaders, Star Wars, Asteroids and, not forgetting Donkey Kong etc and create an environment on the lines of Flynn' s Arcade from the movie TRON. Sadly, that will never happen as I don't have the resources or the space. So, I've settled for digital pinball games, of which I have many, having bought most of the big name pinball collections and single titled games via Steam, some via GOG, several hard copies and some abandonware titles like 3-D Ultra Pinball: Creep Night and it's compatriots (Thrillride & The Lost Continent). When I saw that Pinball Universe was on sale for 90% off I bought it without a though. Considering Zaccarina Pinball, Malzbie's Pinball Collection , Pinball FX 2 & 3, Pinball Arcade and it's companion Stern Pinball Arcade ALL include at least one or two free tables and their DLC content most of the collections price their extra tables is cheap enough to purchase three to five excellent pinball tables (depending on which collection you are buying for) and double that when they are on sale for the price of this game, I think it's appalling that the developer is asking £15.49 for just two mediocre, but functional tables. They are reasonably constructed, the ball physics are okay and the odd animation is okay; but, its still not good enough for the price. Plus, there are other collections such as Pinball HD Collection (despite its odd keyboard bindings and is oddly by the same developer of Pinball Universe) is the same price as this title when not on sale but has fifteen far superior tables. For that alone, I really cannot recommend Pinball Universe at its present price point. Game play wise its sub par to any of the ones I've mentioned above despite the positives I've previously mention (e.g. ball physics etc), including the developers better HD collection of fifteen excellent tables. That said, the tables are functional even though on my first attempt my first three balls went straight down the drain without ever hitting any flippers; though I soon realised I needed to actually move the flippers when the ball was approaching to just about kiss the ball and thus keep it in play. Once I'd done that I was able to keep the ball in play until I got fed up and ended the game. Several more short attempts felt as lack lustre as the first time I played, so again it's not a game I'd recommend. That said, if it's on a good discount, like it was when I purchased it at 90%, then it's just about middle of the road and 'maybe' worth buying. I'd say it's a good starter pinball game for novices only and is the reason I didn't give it a thumbs down. If there was a third neutral option that's where I'd actually put my vote. Sorry OOO Gameprom this is so poor compared to your Pinball HD collection, both games were released on the same day back in 2016. I don't understand why you would release this for the same price as your much superior HD collection that includes 15 decent pinball tables?

They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Pinball Creator" is just a series of sample tables for a Pinball emulator, to teach people how to make their own tables, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so a copy+paste of it can't be recommended. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers. Another important Note: Kedexa have been caught using fake reviews on their games in an attempt to mislead gamers by creating a fake positive review score. The reviews are all from known/compromised pay-per-review accounts, all in Russian or broken English, and show as Steam purchasers (to make the fake reviews count). The fake reviews are all posted within roughly 24 hours of each other, and usually shortly after the game launch. There's no evidence of fake reviews on this game, but that may change in future. Gamers have a right to know when developers act in a highly unethical manner. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Kedexa.

not bad but i think u got to make more scenes 2 is not enough and the game doesn`t worth such a price so add more scenes plz

This game seems to be underrated. I bought it very sheap. Unfortunately, only 2 tables available. It has more controls than it seems to offer: D: push side ; K: push other side ; C: camera switch. This game supports the vertical mode not good enough.
