While technically there isn't a lot to think about when getting a hidden object game, it is never wrong to check it out more closely before you buy it. I am not sure why, but I feel this theme could've been done better, but that is just my opinion. The map clearly fits the theme well, but I still think it wasn't quite what I expected. Still decent for this genre and I enjoyed it regardless.

Easy and short 100% game. 17 minutes for me. Some are probably 1/2 of that time, or even less time, if they use a guide.

FIND KITTENS 5: Magic Tree is a short, simple hidden cats game that is great if you just want a moment to just turn your brain off and focus on something easy. There are 101 cats in the game, all of which are not too difficult to find. There are a few things this hidden cat game does that I like, and much prefer to have in these. Firstly, when you finish a certain section/area the game will colour it in for you. This makes it much easier to work out where you are missing a cat, so that you don’t waste time staring at a chunk with no cats. There’s also a generous hint system, which will show you the general area of a cat you are yet to find every minute - which there is no shame in using, I did several times! The hint system also has absolutely no effect on the achievements. A lot of games like this one I find can be rough on the eyes, because it’s a lot of white, and it cam be very bright on the screen. However, Find Kittens 5 has a little accessibility, including a glare option which is really nice if you find these games hard on the eyes. Overall, this is a very basic experience but seems fitting for the price tag. The hidden x games that have multiple maps and levels typically are priced a few £ higher, so you get about what you’d expect here. But these games are still satisfying, and these short, single map ones are great for a small session in-between other things.
