The game runs pretty well for me, and while it is fun, I find it a little obtuse. It took me forever to find out how to not have every single water tank I place collapse and kill a ton of people, and once you get your people angry at you? It feels like your just entirely unable to recover. It's a cute game, but my starting factories are seemingly soft-locked? I can't change it from the 3 I picked during the tut, and it's getting a bit annoying. It looks good, and is fun, but a little obtuse, and it's really hard to get that "perfect" placement for 1x1 houses when they NEVER go DOWN into 1x1 holes.
I like this game and the vibe. But the colors at night are so dark that you can't make out fine detail when the day cycle is turned on. And when I got to Notland, I can only advance about 1/3 of the way before the its lagging to about 2fps. Even turning graphics really low didn't help.
Game has been published almost a year ago, but still feels like it's in beta. Building descriptions are broken and wrong, it gives console errors for some buildings and the crisis counter still behaves erratically. I like the mechanic, but it's unfinished and has a lot of bugs still.
The game currently is very buggy and basically unplayable, as for some reason factories are broken, and don't create enough buildings, so you get economic crisis even before becoming a city. And also as the time of writing this, the game is some sort of dev build, as it literally says development build in the right bottom corner.
Chill and relaxing Building game, even if you are not the greatest builder. Explosions are hilarious starting out, then you learn to avoid them them like the plague, placing things strategically, and thinking ahead.
