I like the game. It's really fun to play a lot of arcades in one game. I'm puzzled by only one arcade - boxing. The boxing gloves turn invisible every time I play. All the other arcades are good enough to play smoothly
Really fun collection of arcade games with a good sense of nostalgia. Nice attention to detail, though I'm not sure if it's my fault that i suck at bowling or if that one's just harder in VR. Had my girlfriend try it and she enjoyed it as well, it was fun to compare our high scores. Actually made us think about how it would be fun to have a second headset so we could do it multiplayer in real time. Recommend for singleplayer, but it's probably also really fun if you have someone you can play multiplayer with with another VR headset. Can't confirm how well multiplayer works though. Bought this in a bundle with Pierhead Arcade 2 for &7.49 and haven't played the second one yet, but definitely feel like I got my money's worth.
Surprise VR fitness game hit Advantages: 1) No annoying kids 2) The coin slots don't have chewing gum in 3) You don't have to spend £1000 to earn £10 worth of tokens to buy a pack of Chewitts priced £5 Disadvantages: 1) You can't walk around like a chav sticking your dirty roll-up smelling fingers in the coin return slots to see if you can get a free quid 2) It doesn't have that vague sweaty smell that actually pumps me full of adrenaline knowing that where others have fallen I reign supreme 3) I am going to die alone.
So I got the "game" from a "friend". Our intention was to play together, but for some reason, we cannot host a game. Trying to open the friends list in-game, nothing happens. Tried to invite through Steam as well, with no success. As far as regular gameplay goes, I haven't tested it yet, but as someone who prefers multiplayer games, it already is a red flag for me. Controls are also very weird on the Quest 2. I cannot just point and click, i need to hold one of the buttons. There's also no option for continuous movement in case someone isn't motion sick. Also the controls hints can get confusing as the only ones shown are for the HTC Vive. If the issues get resolved, I will rewrite this review.
Can not recommend this game. Controls are super bad like others are mentioning also (was playing on Quest 2 with Steam Link), throwing stuff doesn't feel natural at all and for the most part minigames for that reason were really boring to play. The only thing wrong with this vr game is there isnt more of it! I really like the mini games, and its awesome to feel like i have my own mini arcade. Its as close as the real feeling as you can get at home. like all these vr games, it can be a little glitchy at times but overall it runs pretty well. I especially liked the skill cranes and the cowboy zombie game. If you like arcades, youll probably like this game.
