My kid loves this game. It's a bit unpolished, but for a VR game it's pretty good. Highly recommended if you are looking for a relaxing game to play alone or with friends.
Crashed at launch and cannot play. Would not recommend. I bought this as a bundle so I can't really refund it. My young nieces (7&10) like the Pier Arcade 2 though.
The pierhead arcade (VR) - Gespielt mit Valve Index. Kauf lieber nur den zweiten Teil! Denn der Zweite enthält dieselben Geräte und noch viele mehr - aber vor allem ist die Steuerung überarbeitet worden. Erst im zweiten Teil kann man sich per Snapturn drehen, also durch das Drücken des rechten Joysticks nach links oder rechts.
The only thing wrong with this vr game is there isnt more of it! I really like the mini games, and its awesome to feel like i have my own mini arcade. Its as close as the real feeling as you can get at home. like all these vr games, it can be a little glitchy at times but overall it runs pretty well. I especially liked the skill cranes and the cowboy zombie game. If you like arcades, youll probably like this game.
If you like old style arcade games, this is the best.
If you had any favorite classic arcade games, there's probably a version of it in here. Quality games and atmosphere. I'm surprised at how well the graphics they chose immerse you in the experience of being at the arcade, the music is so well done it sounds like you are hearing it in the building and not in your ears, I haven't tried the built in radio yet but the music they use doesn't get old to me. Best VR arcade around with the most games, some of them really give a good workout too. [Suggestions:] [*]A family member really likes the blue ball for bowling but likes to use the right lane for the extra "space". If using the blue ball with the right lane, it does not return the blue ball unless you start a game in the left lane. [*]Please add a snap turn and continuous movement controls, I use it for all games and its hard to swap to this game sometimes because of the controls. Played using Rift S
Can not recommend this game. Controls are super bad like others are mentioning also (was playing on Quest 2 with Steam Link), throwing stuff doesn't feel natural at all and for the most part minigames for that reason were really boring to play. I honestly thought I'd reviewed this title already, then realized I'd reviewed it in the Oculus Rift store. I got it in the two game bundle and was interested to see if there were any changes here. For some reason the controls seem finicky, and the claw machine kept feeding itself coins even though I was holding the control to guide the claw. Despite this, it's still my favorite game out of the two with the included jukebox and snack station. The games also all have music here so the overall feel is more polished and the ports of these games to the second title didn't all include the music. A fun title if you want to see where it all started, it just can be finicky at times for Rift users.
Ok, I'll blame the controls for my poor score, this time.
There are many many mistakes that have been mostly corrected or sidestepped in Pierhead Arcade 2. Go get that one.
