Pierhead Arcade 2

This is an absolutely fun game if you're looking for a little arcade fun in VR!! Not only are there just a whole bunch of things to do in here, but all the extra rooms can be unlocked after playing a handful of the arcade games featured here...minus the dlc which i dont have since i dont have the first game, am thinking about getting it though. Trust me, this is an absolute fun game to try out!!

A very fun game! I like that if you own Pierhead Arcade 1 and 2, you get to play the arcade machines from the first game in the sequel. I also like that it's got cross-play with Quest players as well (Quest can't connect to PCVR servers but PCVR can connect to Quest servers). The game has some minor issues but it's 98% playable between Quest and PCVR. The map between PCVR and Quest is different too but that's most likely done cos of optimalization (the difference being that arcade machines are not in main hall and they are separated into invidual rooms you have to unlock). The selection of arcade machines is great. you get things like Micro Curling, Ostrich Race and claw machines. I like that the game also gives you trophies for finishing the arcade machines cos each time you finish one, it gives you stars depending on how good your score is. You also get tickets from completing arcade machines to use in a shop found in the main hall in middle. There's also bowling in this but i found it's ball physics too floaty and not heavy so it's a little off but it's still a nice addition. Overall this game is really great game to play with someone and i recommend getting both the first game and the sequel as you get more arcade machines in the sequel. - Some stuff regarding some issues - There are some multiplayer desync between Quest and PCVR players tho. it's nothing major, it's stuff like particles not being synced, Arcade machine music still going on after they ended, that one arcade machine where you throw a ball at tiles not registering hits and some other small things. I tried getting LAN working with Quest and PCVR but i couldn't get it to work so i'm unsure if you can even do that (might work only with PCVR not sure). hopefully this game gets updated over time to fix those issues cos i really like this game! Update: Just checked out Bowling in PIerhead Arcade 1. And i think it's much better there cos the Bowling ball itself feel like it has some weight to it

Alright, I must admit I pulled the trigger on this cause it was onsale. Wife loves arcades so picked it up to play with her. 2 hours later we realized it had captivated us. Great fun especially for a group, and especially if you enjoy carnival games. I will admit I wished the avatars were a bit more personal but alas it is a great time! This is NOT an RPG or any other high expectation title. It is a fun time. Approach it as such. :D Thanks for the great game DEVS, look forward to updates. ~Side note, if you try to throw a basketball through a buddies hoop while they're playing it will glitch the balls out. :D I do enjoy shenanigans'.
