Going into this I had no idea how to even begin to process figuring out a nonogram. I downloaded this for the Piczle Line portion of the game as I have been a fan since playing Piczle Lines on the Nintendo Switch after seeing my brother play it. Thankfully there is an in game tutorial to help show players the ropes on how to handle nonograms and I have actually solved a couple of them so far and look forward to trying to do more of them. Piczle World of Puzzles is great starting point into these kind of puzzles as for free it will show you how to solve nonograms if you are like me and had no idea how and a nice selection of puzzles to play of both nonogram and Piczle Line variety. I used to avoid the nonogram games, but now I find myself more interested in them and will consider picking them up somewhere down the line after playing the tutorial found in this game.
A great amount of content available for free day one of Early Access, with a TON more available for real cheap. As a big fan of nonograms (and the Line puzzle, introduced to me through another great Score Studios title), this is a must. It also works incredibly well on Deck so far!

The world may be about to end, so you're probably concerned about your nonogram puzzle game collection, and rightfully so. There they are, scattered throughout your Steam library, maybe in different categories, perhaps some even have a desktop shortcut. But still. Don't you just wish, deep down, that there could just be one big nonogram game that had everything in one place? And that the world doesn't end, of course. Several of us are hoping for that as well. Here to grant your wish is Piczle World of Puzzles, the ultimate collection of Score Studios games, all in one place! Score, of course is famous for their nonogram style games such as Piczle Cross, Piczle Cells, Piczle Lines, and Piczle Global Thermonuclear War. You may have played some of these games already, but since they are mostly DLC for this free game that already has a generous amount of puzzles, you don't need to buy them again. But you could, you know. Just to have them. Or to quote Non Ishida, the inventor of nonograms, "ただの数字の集まりです". I don't read Japanese, but I bet it's profound. Just like you. Peace. Full disclosure: I was a beta tester for this game. This game is one of the best nonogram/picross games out there. There are all kinds of features to make it play just the way you want, including accessibility considerations. It includes black and white puzzles and color puzzles, as well as Piczle Lines puzzles (which are great fun if you haven't tried them). Despite being in early access, there is a ton of content already available; lots of free puzzles (with more on the way), as well as DLC puzzle packs. And did I mention the puzzle editor? You can create and share your own puzzles! This feature brings the game from great to amazing, in my opinion. The editor works well, and opens up the possibility for endless puzzles! The developer is very responsive to feedback, too. What more could you want?
Piczle World of Puzzles – A Fresh Take on Picross If you’re a fan of nonogram puzzles—more commonly known as Picross—then Piczle World of Puzzles is worth your attention. This latest entry is a fantastic way to dip your toes into the genre, especially since it’s free to play and comes with a handy tutorial for beginners. For seasoned Picross players, here’s why this one stands out: • A true video game feel: Fun sound effects, vibrant themes, and a lively presentation make it more engaging than the minimalist look of many Steam alternatives. • Daily puzzles - sometimes with a seasonal flair: These have been a real joy so far, and they’re free! You can even revisit previous puzzles, so by the time you read this, there could be hundreds waiting for you. • Developer pedigree: The developer has been refining this genre for years over many games, and this release feels like the culmination of that experience. ________________________________________ Content Overview The game currently offers three puzzle types: 1. Regular Nonograms – Classic Picross fun. 2. Colour Nonograms – Adds a splash of complexity. 3. Line Puzzles – Reminiscent of some mobile games I’ve played before, but far more enjoyable here thanks to a bigger screen and zero ads. This feels like the quality version of this type of game. Each section includes multiple puzzle packs, with more likely on the way. Some older puzzles from previous titles have even been repackaged as optional add-ons. No loot boxes, no season passes—just good old-fashioned mini expansion packs if you want extra content and to support the developer. ________________________________________ Technical Notes As an early access title, a few bugs have popped up, but the developer has been quick to patch them—often within 24 hours. Optimisation is solid across different screen sizes and input methods. I’ve tested mouse/keyboard, controller, and Steam Deck, and all work smoothly. Plus, the settings menu is packed with options for tweaking visuals and controls to your liking. ________________________________________ Final Recommendation If this were a paid game, I’d still recommend it for its unique style and quality puzzles. But since it’s free, there’s no reason not to give it a try. Download it, dive in, and see how you get on—you’ve got nothing to lose!
Если вы любите японские кроссворды (нонограммы), то это игра определенно для вас! Не проходите мимо и обратите внимание на другие продукты этих разработчиков!
Piczle World of Puzzles is a collection of both classic b&w nonograms and extended colour nonograms. The base game is free and contains 49 classic puzzles (of various sizes) plus one collage puzzle of six linked nonograms. Each puzzle can be played normally or in challenge mode (1 hour time limit and no errors allowed; only challenge completions are eligible for the community competition tables). There are lots of achievements including those for game progress, and for interacting with the Piczle community (e.g. playing other people's puzzles or producing puzzles for others to play, competing in the community tables etc). Beyond the base game there are priced DLCs for more classic puzzles or for extended puzzles. So far I have only played the free base classic game. My play time is for completing all 50 puzzles (including one collage) in challenge mode, after first completing some puzzles normally; I also had to restart a number of puzzles after making an error in challenge mode. In my view the user interface facilities and the playing mechanics are excellent, being clear, intuitive, and useful. Some of the puzzles are far from easy, particularly in the unforgiving challenge mode, and it often took me quite a long while to tease out enough clues to start making real progress on these, but there is a real sense of achievement when a way forward is discovered. My only hesitation about Piczle is whether I am personally enthusiastic enough about nonograms to buy and solve another whole set of puzzles. But if I do decide to play more nonograms, it will via this game.
Tüm favori mantık bulmacalarınız tek bir özellik paketinde, Piczle World of Puzzles resimli mantık bulmacalarında en üst düzey çözümdür!
Excellent little nonogram game, has a built-in puzzle maker with solvability checks so you can make your own. Also has a really fun connected blocks puzzle. Great little relaxing puzzle game with all the accessibility and QOL features you'd want.
Been playing since the early beta days. Dev is super responsive and is actively adding content and QoL improvements! There are tons of puzzles available for free, plus DLC if you ran out of free puzzles to solve. I enjoy the leaderboards because it gives me a reason to keep improving my strategy to get a better solve. I also highly recommend checking out Piczle Cross Adventure from Score Studios because the way the story/exploration gameplay is tied in with the Picross puzzles is so satisfying.
