Gem Setter

okay before i start my review i know it looks like i only have 26 minutes in the game but i played the hell out of the itch.io version before getting it on steam. gem setter is a perfect example of something that is easy to learn but hard to master. all of the puzzle elements are extremely simple, but the depth that comes from them is astounding. there are a ton of official levels that make full use of these elements, as well as player-generated content! just like the rest of the game, the level editor is sleek and extraordinarily easy to learn for newcomers. the music is also AMAZING!! all of the artists involved are criminally underrated. consider buying the soundtrack as well to support them!!

Whilst it's principles are simple, it's still a ton of fun! Can't get over how smooth the animations are, gives me so much dopamine Glad to see it here on Steam :D

I'm going to start this review by saying puzzle games are not my forte. That being said, this game is complete enjoyment, even for me! If you're new to puzzle games, and like level editors this is definitely a game for you! That being said, if you're a puzzle games veteran, and like playing obnoxiously difficult levels from people on the internet, this game is definitely for you as well! The game is cute. This game can hurt your brain. This game has a very good soundtrack. This game is chill. I watched this game grow from the sidelines, and I know 1f1n and the many others who contributed spent a lot of time making this a well-rounded game suitable for all players, even players new to puzzle games. The level editor allows for a ton of creativity, as well! For it's price, I think this game is a worthwhile purchase, especially for those looking to get into puzzle games.

A simple, yet well polished puzzle game! Quite stellar music, and a much appreciated level editor + online level sharing! About everything you would want from a puzzle game of this type! I believe the price is more then fair.

Very cool game. Clean design, simple but challenging levels, beautiful music. I find myself playing this game again and again, in order to listen to its music that I love. Please support 1f1 as a musician as well.

amazing ost and really fun puzzles

　障害物に引っかかるまで直進する自機を操作してゴールにぴったり止める、いわゆる滑る氷の床パズルゲーム。一方通行やスイッチを押すと出る壁、氷と引っ付いて一緒に滑る、氷をぶつけて火を消すといった解りやすいギミックながら奥深く、後半は歯ごたえのあるレベルデザインが特徴。 　問題数はレビュー時点で80問、順番にクリアしなくても自由に選べるので解けなければ後回しにできる。しっかりとゴールまでの形を考えさせられる良問が多いが、最後の最後に超クソ問題が2個ほど詰まっていたのが謎…。 　ユーザーが問題を作成・投稿できる機能もあり、既に少なくとも500問以上(!)投稿されている模様。この手の機能にしてはクオリティの高いものが多めだが検索機能の貧弱さやクリア済みをマークする機能が(多分)無いのが非常に惜しい。 　カジュアル寄りな外観ではあるものの、氷をくっ付ける操作の関係上キーボード＋マウス操作なので片手でのんびりとはいかないのは注意。問題を選択する画面が無意味に狭い等、主にUI面で悪い部分も多いが、肝心のパズルを解く際の操作性に関しては問題無し。 　BGMはチル系でかなり良い。記録上のプレイ時間の大部分はBGMを聴くために裏で放置していた時間で、実プレイ時間はおそらく3~5時間程だと思われる。 　Stean上ではレビューが少ないが、itch.ioのみで売られていた期間が長かったらしいのが要因の1つだと思われる。ゲーム内容自体は前述の通りなので、内容が気になったならレビュー数は気にせずデモ版から触ってみてほしい。 　ちなみに、ストアのヘッダー画像のキャラが海外ゲー特有の芋臭さを放っているが、ゲーム内にこいつは出てこない。ゲームのスクリーンショットそのまま載せた方がマシじゃない？？
