Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Well, it is what it is I think. Oddities: You're not building a complete high score, simply the most money left in your bank account at the end of time. What this means is that its most efficient to play as little as possible over the time limit. Weird choice. It's also easy to trick yourself into thinking this is tiny metro or something-- it's not. The key factor is making your routes take the 6.5s or whatever exact figure it is to enable the station to recharge for the next train, and not to overlap enough to cause it to miss a drop. It's an odd mechanic and a weird system, but it's a dollar and the Pico is a cool idea. I don't think it's bad, it's just that it's not exactly the most engaging mechanics for a game. The music loop almost killed me by the end. Wish it had a little more variance. Overall, functional, cute, more or less half an idea executed in an odd way. If you like the Pico8, why not.
i enjoy this kind of game even if it's short and sweet. manage your expectations - you essentially replay to try and top your earnings from each 20 minute round. you'll probably be finished within an hour.

A great little game.
There's no confusion and delay in PicoTrains, a cosy little gem of a train management sim perfect for a tea break with a few bikkies. Set down your tracks and let your miniature yellow locos make their journey to and fro. As very useful engines, they'll earn you money along the way, allowing for more track, more trains, and even more addictively, rerouting and optimisation. I'll admit I may be more than a little biased as a train enthusiast in a relationship with the developer that resulted in a kid with a train hyperfixation. 5 peep peeps out of 5
A great mini-game with relaxing music and a very pleasant retro atmosphere !
Cute game, defo worth the price
It’s kinda hard to criticize a game that’s this cheap and minimalistic, but I think it’s important to be fair. I think it’s a simple, relaxing experience for one or two sessions, but it lacks a goal. There’s a time attack mode and a high-score system, but they feel like an afterthought. It’s the skeleton of a good idea that never saw the light of day. Even the scoring system (since your money is your score) motivates you to save money, so you just wait and do nothing for about five minutes. Waiting is not fun. I like my sine waves like I like my trains, but there’s just no tension in this game at all. If the price isn’t a big deal for you, you can try it, of course, but I can’t really recommend it.
Very cute little game! A perfect little capsule that is nothing more than it needs to be!
Great little puzzler to chill out with. Easy to get started with good in-game instructions. Satisfying and relaxing game loop.
Incredibly ingenious and well thought-out scoring mechanics! It's a simple to pick up game yet challenging to ace the optimal track configuration to balance the yield and costs. Very rewarding and chill game to play solo or fun with kids!
