An interesting application for sure it is very unique and cool I definitely love its aspect but its interface is too complex unlike other top of the line applications this one strictly requires you to move around its interface with the arrow keys and that is all so dont bother trying to move around its "3D" environment like blender can. It also only exports in a gif format so this application is more of a fun application. There is a lot the dev can do to make this better and cooler and actually allow rendered images or assets. But there is a second one released already hopefully that on is what you are looking for instead with more work done to it. I dont want to review bad cause its good but I cant recommend especially since there is a 2nd one I would definitely look forward to that on sale when it comes out.
This game is great, very cute and so cool to imagine what models I can make into cute little pixel art. The UI is good I don't really have any complaints about its pretty intuitive besides maybe adding a little menu where you can view your projects and click on them to open them instead of having to drag and drop files to edit projects. The problems I have with the game are moreso issues to do with the limitations of PICO8 i think: - Sometimes there is weird distortion on the model when viewing it from certain angles. Not sure what causes this - Sometimes meshes won't be inline with each other and you can't move them to be inline with each other because moving the points will either push it too far or not far enough which is very annoying, means i have to change the shape or scale of one of the meshes. - Faces won't draw properly a lot of the time even when examining the face properties and using the 'draw behind' feature. Faces will be drawn behind certain meshes for no apparent reason which will break the whole immersion. I don't think I'm missing anything here but if I am can someone let me know - Not being able to draw textures directly on the faces is annoying and makes for a lot of backtracking and making new texture maps (already being fixed in the sequel). Also texture boxes for faces sometimes won't line up properly with textures and even if they do there will sometimes be a bit of texture outside the box that is painted onto the face so you have to make the texture box smaller to limit that which can mess with designs. - Project limits are quite small I'm sure all these problems and already known and being worked on for the sequel which I'm excited for, so I'm not too fussed about them since the concept and execution is still great and I enjoy it a lot. You can definitely work around a lot of the problems right now.
Из-за бага не могу накатить текстуру
I need the option to turn the watermark on or off so I can export a clean, unobstructed result when needed.
