HONEST REVIEW: I have been in contact with the developer of this game, Studge. He is possibly the most down to earth and polite developer I have ever known and it's good to see that there are developers that don't just make games as money grabs and they still put true effort into their games. I will update my review if I come accross anything that I haven't covered in this review already. Firstly, the music is designed very well, it is very immersive for a pixel art medieval game. The sound effects along with the music fit in well and it adds a nice atmosphere to the game. Secondly, the graphics of the game are well suited for this genre of strategy platformer. It is clear cut and is appealing to the eye. The colour palette of this game is well thought out because it creates a very good atmosphere for this chirpy yet serious pixel art game. Thirdly, the gameplay, controls and UI. The gameplay is refreshing, it is nice to see a platformer that can achieve this, you feel a sense of importance when you win a game because of how a match is fought out. You can upgrade your player thoughout the match with multiple upgrades that can help him in the battle which is nice to see. The controls are responsive and you can bind your own controls which the developer of this game added after this was a sought after thing. And the UI, I really like how clear the UI is however the only thing I can bash it for is the minimap, the minimap is a bit constricting because you can't see the terrain of the map, it's only the towers and you. But I have been talking to the developer of the game and he seems open about proposals for changing elements of the game. Apart from the minimap the only other problem that I have with the game is the connection to multiplayer games, at the moment I haven't had many problems as I was able to connect to some but not others. The developer of the game is getting this fixes ASAP and he is currently finding out what the problem is. Another thing constricting it at the moment is that there is only one map to choose, however the developer is thinking about developing another type of map for the game possibly in an upcoming update. In conclusion, the game is only £2.79/$4.00 and for this price I would highly recommend buying it and getting your friends to get it aswell as it can be quite fun with a large group. TLDR: Pros: Developer is open about his game and is open for suggestions for his game Music and sound effect are immersive and add to the feel of the game Graphics suit this type of game Gameplay is refreshing Controls are responsive UI is clear Well price once multiplayer is fully functional Cons: The minimap on the UI needs some improvement because it doesn't show terrain Multiplayer is on and off at the moment Only one map at the moment *REMEMBER*: The game is still in it's early stages so it is constantly being improved and I will update this review along with the progress of the game.

No players at all. The last update was months ago. Studge, if you're just developing this game "Just for fun", then make it free to play. If you actually want to earn money from this, then you're gonna have to do something. EDIT: Apparently you've been working on a big update all of this time. Not very good. In my opinion, if you want to keep the player base then you should release small updates all the time, and not make lots of them in just one update. Anyways, I hope some players will be on for the new update, which is good because I'll get to actually play with someone.
Currently the only issue I have with the game is the lack of players. Every other issue that is brought up is usually patched and fixed right away. These devs are working hard so give them a chance! Love the game.
What is this game about This game is about you having to take down tower and reach the enemy king and defeat the king to win the game. Problem with the game The reason why i dont recommend this game is that it just does not work. As its meant to be a massive multiplayer game and its not. It has no players no one plays this game. They need to release this game for free or advertise it more to get more players into it. The game it self is a great idea and i do like it but as i said before you cant really play it as there are no other players. GamePlay The gameplay is fun and has a good idea behind it i like the idea that you are able to upgrade your weapons and items as the game progresses. (works like a MOBA). This game also has different classes to play as. sadly i could not realy see if they are balanced as i could not find any other players in the game. Price This game is not good for the price as you dont get the full experience as you cant play with other players. i would recommend that the game devs make this game for free for a while on steam or maybe release a huge update that will get players back into the game which then will make the game more worth buying as you will have other players to play with. Overall This game is good and i could recommend it but you just cant as no one else plays this game and this game does need other players playing. which will make the game a lot more fun to play. The idea that the game goes for is really good and i could see it being a popular game on steam. NOTE:If this game ends up getting more players playing it i will change this review to positive but sadly at this time this game is not worth it. This review is not negative this game is good and has a good idea behind and also could be fun. If you get this game with your friends this game would be fun but if you are getting it yourself thinking you will be able to play it with other people you won't be able to.
Multiplayer MOBA game with tiny bitsy characters. Can't be played - no servers. Or play with bots and waste your time...
A wonderful game that has potential. Great for people who like 2d sidescrolling platformers and for people that like MOBAs. In my opinion, such a game is unique and offers great potential. It seems that the Devs are trying to get out more content, which is great, but I feel like they should sharpen what they already have first. Suggestions to Devs: -add fullscreen mode to the game asap -nerf the wizard -fish for more players by making the game free for a short time (there are only 5-7 players online at any given time, this number needs to be ten times as many for any sort of online multiplayer playability) A great game, I hope more players can log on so that there can be constant matches going on. That would be really nice.
Received this game as a gift. Controls and gameplay seem simple enough but there doesn't seem to be much of a community playing the game. Dragonslayer mode has pretty limited appeal for solo players. It doesn't have much else to offer since no one else is online. Would not recommend.
Take Thy Throne is a 2D side-scrolling MOBA where players can choose between characters with different strengths to defend towers and claim enemy thrones. Gather resources and collect gold to purchase better gear and defenses each match. Wield a sword, bow, or axe and defend your king while slaying the enemy in Take Thy Throne. Players choose from over four unique character classes in this 2D side-scrolling MOBA, such as the Helper, the Archer, the Mage, or the Honor Guard. Each class has their own strengths: Helper is the only class equipped to mine ore or chop trees. Gather resources and collect gold to construct Buildables, such as turrets and barricades, and upgrade combat gear each match. Dive into different game modes, such as Take Thy Throne (slay enemy king + tower defense), Team Deathmatch, or Dragon Slayer with up to six people. Note: Sad to say no online players.
