This is a great game! I had played it and beat it long ago when it first came out. I was waiting anxiously for MumboJumbo to make it a series, but NO! For some reason, they did not follow up this one-of-a-kind game with another. Too bad, because there is really nothing out there like it. It's a great game, and excellent concept, and because of how it is designed, there is definitely replayability, which is rare with HOGs. This one is highly recommended!
Love these search and find games. Great game if you like to bargain.
Great game. Wish there were more games like this out there.
It's a combination of hidden objects, auctions and selling the items you found in someone's garage or backyard. First, you have to look for the items based on the required category (e.g. Games Memorabilia, Kitchenware) by travelling to different places and looking for the items that you feel are worthy of selling or can fetch a maximum bid in the auction. Then, you need to negotiate a reasonable price with the owner and ensure it's not too low, or the owner will be in a foul mood. Some items have a lost part, so you must look for the other part and combine them. It's a casual game that is enjoyable to play or kill time. It's fun to see how angry the owners are when you push their limits during the negotiation.
we cant call them that anymore, i believe the correct terminology is Grabican American 1/10 its a hog with more work and no story
Pickers is an interesting twist on the hidden object style game, where instead of solving hidden object puzzles to progress a story, the hidden objects you find you buy and then flip them for a profit in your shop, competing against other pickers to see who can make the most money. Obviously the game is very niche, swapping the traditional progression/plot gameplay for business simulation. The only reason I'm not recommending this right now is the price is too high. For people who are huge fans of American Pickers, this would be a very worthwhile game, but otherwise it's too niche and too expensive for the quality of the game for me to recommend to most gamers.
I hate adventure point and clickers. This game takes the idea in an interesting direction. kind of enjoyed it, but it's just not actiony enough for me. New take on puzzles, cohesive graphics. I like the concept.
Ridiculously fun to play. Simple to understand and easy to enjoy. Improvements could easily be made to increase re-play value. Me, I'll play it again either way.
Funny game, you're able to 'complete' it within 3 hours. Would recommend it, but I do think €10 is a bit too much.
If you like hidden object games you'll love this one for sure. It requires a little thinking apart from brainlessly searching for items as you need to select what items you think fits the sellable category. 1. Pick your items according to the day's list of popular item categories. 2. Do the bonus hidden object game bit to get bonus cash. 3. Haggle to get a good price (but dont annoy the seller too much!) 4. Return to your shop to sell your goods either by auctioning or in-store sale. 5. Close your shop and start a new day with a new set of popular item categories! Very addictive game with lots of replay value. Glad i got this from a $1 bundle!
