The game is decent and I know that there was a lot of love poured into this game but this is not worth 10$. I think this game is allot better than Phasmophobia because it is highly customizable and actually has you fighting the ghost rather than just uncovering it. The maps are also mostly good. Where the game is lacking is polish, frequently the game bugs out and no longer allows you to use items, the gameplay loop is always the same since objects always behave the same way and the leveling system is just as slow as it is In Phasmo. Overall I would recommend this game, just not for 10 bucks. 5 would be a much more fitting price IMO.

Update: The game has been updated and release notes show it is being released from EA. Switching to positive per the below concerns, but will update upon playing again. Hopefully the dev will continue updating past 1.0. --- The last update was May 12 and it's now Sept 25. There seems to be no activity or updates from the developers. Shame, because it had some interesting ideas. Edit: Response to Dev - I left the Discord a while ago due to inactivity. This "communication" we had was from when talent trees and custom mode was introduced...again, May 12. If there are upcoming content patches, it should be posted here where people are actually buying the game instead of it being exclusive to Discord. I will change my review when content updates hit again and the dev communicates more clearly outside of Discord. "The last Discord update is from July and you left the server just minutes ago." - I left the discord sometime in Sept/Oct. There was no activity from May (last patch) to then, so I left. This arguement is stupid, for the record. I switched the review to positive based on the latest patch. With your next "edit of edit", consider keeping your fanbase, reviewers, and customers in the loop by updating them on a regular basis in both Discord and Steam. They deserve better, regardless if you are triple A or an indie developer.

Overall Rating: 7/10 - Another solid addition to co-op horror ghost hunting games. One of my favorite things is the ability to exorcize the demons you identify. Solid game.

So far. So good, my sister and I did not care much for it when it first came out. However we'll give it a shot now I jumped in a single player game. It's done well, and I like the overall look of it more then Phasma... but this is a direct competitor and if they want to make it big, they should advertise? Anyway I'll update my review if there is a deadly bug with no work around. Until then, get this game. it's 10 bucks.

its very fun and love the graphics and gameplay

The standard settings make it seem a bit easy but if you customise your game you can add additional gear items, make it more spicy by adding chaos and increasing the chance the vessel will teleport. This game is still in early access with a small dev team, and they are adding more content too. The game is not the same as other ghost hunting games, the hunts are a little tricky to distinguish sometimes but the maps are interesting and the items within varied. The wording in the Ghostapedia book is a little confusing, especially when playing in a group because the responses are yes or no, it's not always clear visible/invisible in mirror/in photo., these yes/no become confusing, like it should be 'Seen in photo' visible/disappeared response. I did feedback to the devs on discord, and I know they are re-looking at the wording, they are very pro-active and responsive on Discord too and encourage feedback. The talents i'm still working out, im not sure how seeing the ghost when it is not hunting is beneficial other than scaring the S out of me. Its not scary really but it is good fun to play with friends. I'm looking forward to seeing what else they do with the game!

This is my current favorite game in this genre. Genuinely had fun with this one and look forward to future updates!

training in the game is horrible and items seem all broken

Ich hab keine Ahnung, warum alle dieses Spiel mit Phasmophobia vergleichen!? Das Grundprinzip ist vllt. gleich mit "Finde den Geist heraus.", aber alles andere ist absolut nicht vergleichbar. Man muss ein Gefäß suchen mit seinem Equipment und dann verschiedene Eigenschaften testen, um herauszufinden welchen Geist man exorzieren muss. Der Exorzismus beinhaltet immer 3 Schritte. Es gibt viele voreingestellte Schwierigkeiten, aber man kann auch mit benutzerdefinierten Einstellungen spielen. Es ist noch im Early Access, aber es ist das erste Geisterspiel seit langer Zeit, welches mal wieder richtig Spaß macht.
