Как фанату Pharaoh + Cleopatra - мне нравится. Не заменит оригинальную игру, но позволяет немного разнообразить опыт Но по ощущениям проще оригинала: *Всего три уровня сложно, где максимальный хард. Играю только на нем и не испытываю проблем *Ощущение, что украшения работают сильнее - закрасить дорогу плазой не составляет труда *Можно включить общий пул рабочих. Это гораздо сильно упрощает челлендж с зонированием. Им не пользуюсь. Но будем честны - в классическом фараоне есть буквально одна эффективная застройка и эксплойт, как обеспечить здание рабочими. Так что не уверен, что общий пул это прям полом... скорее возможность более гибко строить, без привязки к жилым районам *Можно убрать старение населения, чтобы не испытывать проблем с рабочими через Х лет. Не уверен, на сколько это тоже полом, ведь в оригинале очень легко через разносчика воды обновить население.

Nostalgic feeling when playing this game. Good combination and some improvements from the last version. Can be better with actual rotation of buildings, zoom in, zoom out or moving around the maps.

I adore this game and recommend it to anyone looking to relive Zeus and Poseidon. The game feels amazing to play especially with the quality of life updates that came along with the remaster. I have been working towards getting every achievement of the game and after that I will be going back to Zeus and Poseidon hoping that a remaster of that one will be coming. I am only going for absolute completion in the hopes that the developers see the dedication to this genre and bring us the remaster of the GOAT Zeus and Poseidon.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants to play Zeus and Posiden. It's not quite there but it does fill the itch. I primarily played this only because I want to play Zeus and Posiden remastered as well. I have played almost every campaign mission so the developers will see this. WE WANT ZEUS AND POSIDEN! I really do just want Zeus and Posiden also remastered. Wasn't too impressed with the combat. The festivals were a bit annoying and the amount of time to build some of the pyramids was just crazy. But overall I really enjoyed this game and will try to 100% this just so they will see this and do Zeus and Posiden next. Thank you for the fun!
The creators of Pharaoh: A New Era have added very little of real value to improve the game compared to the original 1999 release — in fact, they've significantly taken away several useful features. For example, it's no longer possible to engage in meaningful combat with infantry or archers; military mechanics feel stripped-down and unresponsive. When it comes to constructing a Mastaba, the work done by the stonemasons feels carelessly executed — lacking the polish and attention to detail that once made the game satisfying and immersive. It’s disappointing to see a remaster that seems more focused on visual updates than preserving or enhancing the core mechanics that made the original a classic.
