About
Immerse yourself in the history of Ancient Egypt with 50 missions in Pharaoh™: A New Era, a remake of Pharaoh (and the expansion Cleopatra: Queen of the Nile), one of the best city builders from the golden age of Sierra Entertainment. Stone by stone, build your city and manage all aspects of its development to ensure it prospers and makes you a powerful and revered pharaoh.

Develop your city by cultivating the fertile lands along the banks of the Nile valley. Erect the iconic monuments of Ancient Egypt, including the pyramids, the Sphinx and the Lighthouse of Alexandria. Build temples and mausoleums to help manage all aspects of your city's health and culture as well as the predominant polytheistic religion of the time.
Ensure your city is prosperous enough to deal with economic or political crises, or even plundering by enemies. A pharaoh takes care of its people and does whatever it can to earn the favour of the gods.

Pharaoh™: A New Era celebrates 20 years since the release of the famous franchise with a complete remake, including more than 50 playable missions and over 100 hours of gameplay.
The "Campaign" mode teaches you the game basics while allowing you to experience a unique story in the heart of Ancient Egypt. Explore all aspects of life in a thriving city, build and manage all its fundamental elements to ensure it flourishes: the economy, internal and external trade, culture, health, agriculture, education, etc.

The journey back in time is really brought to life with this new version, which upgrades the gameplay mechanics to modern standards and completely redesigns the captivating soundtrack and gorgeous isometric 2D graphics.
Many indicators have also been added or improved: keep better track of the frequency or quality of the Nile's floods with the Nilometer, or don't lose sight of your population's mood with some unique new tools!

Невмируща класика, грав колись в підлітковому віці, то було дуже складно і незрозуміло. Зараз стало набагато цікавіше. Рекомендую!
All you do in the game is "upgrade your housing." The gameplay loop quickly becomes boring. Several buttons/functions in the UI are not even actionable. I'm convinced that the developers installed the "roadblock" mechanic because they couldn't figure out how to properly program the workers/pathing, and now they're trying to bamboozle us by pretending it's a feature.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I Loved the old game and Cleopatra I'm Loving this Game maybe a bit more.
Triskell cements themselves as isometric city building's new standard bearer
Some of my favorite classic isometric city builders came from Impressions Games, titles like Caesar II and the original Pharaoh. Fast forward a couple of decades, and I fell in love all over again thanks to their spiritual successor, Triskell Interactive's Lethis: Path of Progress, which did an amazing job picking up the torch and carrying on a niche that had largely been dormant for a couple of decades. So when I found out Triskell Interactive and Dotemu were teaming up to remake Pharaoh, I was thrilled, thrilled enough that I ended up hanging out in Triskell's Discord just to catch their livestreams of the artist touching up assets. As much as I love the theming and art style of Lethis, Pharaoh: A New Era is a straight up upgrade over the original release in every sense. I haven't finished the whole campaign yet, mostly because there's simply a lot of content to work through, but the challenges build on each other in a really natural way that steadily sharpens your city building instincts as you go. This is my modern day gold standard for isometric city builders, and I'm genuinely excited to see how Dotemu and Triskell's next original project, Theos: Cities of Myth, turns out.
si lo jugaste cuando salio a finales de los 90, y te gusto, no lo dudes un segundo y compralo!! es el mismo juego con mejores graficas y esta todo muy bien echo!
Pretty faithful to the original. There are a few minor changes, and they're mostly well implemented.
