absolute cult classic
good plot
I was craving an old school point and click. This did NOT disappoint. I loved it! Total slow burn horror. The ending was crazy!
I must have played this 50 times already, still love it. To me, it was such a dramatic turning-point with respect to graphic capabilities in gaming. Just wish this couple would stop buying mansions sight-unseen. They didn't even do a walk-though prior to closing on the property.... Was most obvious when she went into the basement, I was like, "really, lady?"... Regardless, TOP STAR RATING TILL I LEAVE THIS PLANET! :-)
ce jeu donne la chère de poule mais il est bon
I havent played this game since it came out in the 90s. So when I came across it on here I had to buy it.
7h 5m Played A classic FMV (Full Motion Video) horror adventure that still holds up surprisingly well. The story is interesting, pacing is solid, and the ~7-hour length works in its favor. The live-action acting is very dated and often unintentionally funny, and technical issues like mouse bugs can be frustrating. The biggest downside is Chapter 7, which can effectively soft-lock you if you start without the right items, forcing the use of a walkthrough. Despite its flaws, the nostalgic charm and connection to Sierra make it an enjoyable retro experience. Game Duration: 420 minutes Complexity: 1.5/5 Strategy: 1.0/5 Luck: 1/5 Interaction: 2/5 Theme: 4.5/5 Replay Value: No, once you know the story and puzzles there is little reason to replay.
straight forward story line, the puzzles are easy but its also easy to look over pixels that dont look like anything. i was let down by the gore, yes the ending is really brutal but little to nothing through the first six chapters. if you wanna play an older point and click horror game play harvester, but if you wanna hear a decent story and kill five hours then do play this game. all in all its a solid 6.5/10
Fav horror point & click visual novel 4ever. ♡♡♡ I eat it. I eat it. Love it. Eat it. Love it. ♡ it Amazing for its time btw...
This game was as good as when I played it like 25 years ago. Amazing story, acting and environment. If you like "Point & click" games, this is one of the classics you need to have on your wishlist.
