Petit Island is an incredibly cute game with lots of fun and charming characters. The island looks beautiful and feels like the perfect size: not too small, but not overwhelmingly big either, so it’s easy to explore different areas quickly. Both the main quests and side quests are enjoyable, which makes the whole game feel cozy and relaxing to play.
SO CUTE
A little bit clunky when it comes to controls (you can't fast-bind tools and you can't jump with bought mounts). But overall it's charming, even llittle bit childish I'd say. Questing in chill atmosphere. It was only 8 hours to 100%, so for the full price I'd say it is not worth it, but for +50% discount it's fine. Almost all the time I saw more potential in the game or mechanics, but unused unfortunately.
The steam deck buttons and buttons they tell you to press are not at all the right ones. Will come back to play after its fixed. Nice cozy game. However if it tells you to press A press B. X is to close the camera, havent figured out the rest.
Absolutely loved it. It's a charming little story! I want to see this world expanded on with bigger areas, more characters, more interactive things like being able to enter buildings, vehicles, houses, and the ability to speak to more NPCs for example. It definitely deserves a sequel!
Molto consigliato a chiunque!
I totally recommend this rather short 3D adventure game! It's super cute and fun to play, the game world is idyllic and makes you feel like on vacation. I like the quests and game activities like fishing, catching insects and small parcour "minigames" etc. too. The story might be a bit simple, fitting the childlike view that your character has, but it really has its memorable moments, especially after the large rock suddenly starts to talk to you - all of a sudden you realize that you're in a Miyazaki-like animation movie world :D
It wasn't horrible, it was cute and cozy but there was so much backtracking and a lot of 'go here and then go back' missions multiple times. So I found myself going back and forth so much I just got bored and irritated. It's slow and there are no warps and I get that it's meant to be that way just for me I found the go back and forth quests really draining and boring. Like ok I've been down this same path 4 times now... It was just not what I wanted from the game.
