About

Peripeteia is a cyberpunk immersive sim set in alternate-history Poland – a first-and-third-person game mixing shooter, stealth and RPG mechanics with an unexplored setting and original ideas.
You are Marie: a cybernetic mercenary in a post-Soviet city full of corruption and opportunity, where nations, factions and ideologies clash. You will use your wits, tact, and raw violent nature to complete tasks shrouded in conspiracy and mystery. Logic, skill and ruthless cunning win the day in an interactive world – but when that fails, a loaded gun and the ability to climb virtually anywhere, will suffice.
Levels so vast they take hours to explore. Every tower, sewer, rooftop and basement is real and reachable. No quest markers. No correct path. If you can see a ledge, Marie can grab it. Forge your own routes with a sabre jammed into a wall or a well-placed crate. Get lost. Find something no one else found. That's the point.
Over 100 weapons – Cold War surplus, prototype rarities, stolen NATO hardware. Every magazine, every bullet, every attachment exists as a physical object in your inventory. Strip enemy weapons for parts. Transfer your gear between missions. Build your stash in Marie's basement. Plan your loadout or improvise when everything goes wrong.
Hack terminals. Possess enemies. Manipulate factions against each other. Sneak through the vents, talk your way past the guards, or come in loud with a stolen PKM. Every mission is a sandbox. Your choices determine who lives, who dies, and whose flag flies over the city.
Marie is living military surplus – powerful but not invincible. Manage your implants, ration your energy, scavenge what you can. The city doesn't care about you. Its factions will use you and discard you.
An unforgettable soundtrack featuring Sewerslvt, Ed Harrison (Neotokyo, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided) and a dozen other amazing artists. Drum and bass, atmospheric ambience, breakcore. Post-Soviet brutalism rendered in the grit of the early 2000s with modern lighting. Rain on concrete. Every second of this city sounds and looks exactly as dark as it should.

An immersive sim for people who think the genre never got the sequel it deserved.

Reviews
Definetely not for everyone. Not for me. Levels are just too big, with nothing to see/loot. No interactions with npcs to call this "immersive". It just sounds like lazy programming the way the missions are handed to you. Its a bad game? Don't think so. But its not good either (for my taste).
just finished outskirt (kabash) thats well its morally ambiguous and i aligned with PSR , i literally shat my self at reclamation smh 8/10

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

You can definitely feel that the game is under that same kind of umbrella that covers janky eastern European games like stalker or chernobylite, and I mean that in a positive way. This is a game that has a heavy focus on exploring the world and simply figuring things out on your own, the story will keep you hooked, because the deeper you go searching for the memory of "the bunker" the more you start to forget why you're doing that in the first place, the way they present the world and the characters in it will make you want to know more about everything but the end of Marie's journey. Gameplay wise it's a pretty standard RPG FPS experience, most of the time you will have more issues fighting your inventory and figuring out the way around than fighting enemies (except for the fourth level but that entire experience is in of itself a puzzle of sorts that definitely feels conflicting given how the other levels for the game were, and while I'm a fan of horror especially in games like this, it feels like they ended up trying to go with too many ideas at once and didn't know how to add them to a game where the main selling point is being able to solve problems from many different angles yet still somehow you feel like you hit impossible roadblocks in this mission often) The game has issues that need to be worked out but that doesn't diminish from the experience, It's definitely unique even when compared with stalker or EYE since those are the main inspirations for the devs, it's a beautiful experience that makes you feel like you're there feeling the scent of rotten concrete and metal, a dystopia locked in a long war where people like your neighbor, Kasia, live normally and carry on with their lives. it has a lot of replay value since the same mission can be addressed in so many different ways to the point where you feel lost a lot of the time regarding what to do or where to go, but that is also part of the charm of the experience. TL;DR It's a game worth it if you are into the vibe of wanting to experience being lost in the mall as a kid, PTSD, alcoholism, drug abuse and cyber psychosis while cursing in polish.
Budget graphics and simple combat, but incredible atmosphere, style and a very organic sense of exploration and rewards for doing so. I have had great fun getting lost in this game. The loot and inventory management is engrossing and feels very much worth doing for the sake of your loadout. I love the weapon, ammo and attachment system, the variety is all there. 'Eight levels' sounds short but if you're the type to want to see every nook and cranny then you will get great value for money imo. I'm only on Level 2 after 10 hours and I feel like I have had many fresh experiences and seen many cool sights. Game balance is so far quite good, though if anything I feel a little over-equipped due to my thoroughness and the ease of ammo efficiency when using a mouse to shoot. That said, time-to-kill is quick for you and for enemies against you, so being equipped to the gills is probably a good problem to have. I have not experienced any bugs that have affected gameplay, the core systems are all smooth and effective. If you can tolerate Bethesda jank then you can easily tolerate this game's jank. Runs perfectly at max graphics on my 5-yr old entry level gaming laptop. Lastly, UI, saving and settings are all top notch, everything you could want is available.
