About

Peripeteia is a cyberpunk immersive sim set in alternate-history Poland – a first-and-third-person game mixing shooter, stealth and RPG mechanics with an unexplored setting and original ideas.
You are Marie: a cybernetic mercenary in a post-Soviet city full of corruption and opportunity, where nations, factions and ideologies clash. You will use your wits, tact, and raw violent nature to complete tasks shrouded in conspiracy and mystery. Logic, skill and ruthless cunning win the day in an interactive world – but when that fails, a loaded gun and the ability to climb virtually anywhere, will suffice.
Levels so vast they take hours to explore. Every tower, sewer, rooftop and basement is real and reachable. No quest markers. No correct path. If you can see a ledge, Marie can grab it. Forge your own routes with a sabre jammed into a wall or a well-placed crate. Get lost. Find something no one else found. That's the point.
Over 100 weapons – Cold War surplus, prototype rarities, stolen NATO hardware. Every magazine, every bullet, every attachment exists as a physical object in your inventory. Strip enemy weapons for parts. Transfer your gear between missions. Build your stash in Marie's basement. Plan your loadout or improvise when everything goes wrong.
Hack terminals. Possess enemies. Manipulate factions against each other. Sneak through the vents, talk your way past the guards, or come in loud with a stolen PKM. Every mission is a sandbox. Your choices determine who lives, who dies, and whose flag flies over the city.
Marie is living military surplus – powerful but not invincible. Manage your implants, ration your energy, scavenge what you can. The city doesn't care about you. Its factions will use you and discard you.
An unforgettable soundtrack featuring Sewerslvt, Ed Harrison (Neotokyo, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided) and a dozen other amazing artists. Drum and bass, atmospheric ambience, breakcore. Post-Soviet brutalism rendered in the grit of the early 2000s with modern lighting. Rain on concrete. Every second of this city sounds and looks exactly as dark as it should.

An immersive sim for people who think the genre never got the sequel it deserved.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

An unhinged passion project made by someone or some people who know what they like. A bizarre IM-Sim that challenges the player in many different ways, from UI to level design to figuring out wtf is going on. If you are in an open-minded mood and fancy some eastern european bleakness, why not try this?

very good
Bastante bien, mezcla lo mejor de sus inspiraciones dentro de un mundo gigante y totalmente explorable. Perfectamente podes quedarte un día haciendo una misión o terminarla en 10 minutos solo siendo atento, todo está conectado.
very good would play again and hope for more
An absolute mess of a game doomed to become next slavic cult classic like Pathologic or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - if not already one. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my time in Peripeteia. This game's universe is absolutely something I have never seen before. Pretty much the first post-apoc post-soviet cyberpunk immersive sim - quite a unique combination, huh? :) But there are just SO many slappy moments about this game that without its storytelling, lore and atmosphere it would flop altogether. +++ UNIVERSE AND ATMOSPHERE Gosh, I actually cannot think of something so bizzare, captivating and immersive like this setting. It is very hard to describe with words and to some extent it just has to click with you. Some people dislike how janky and feverish this lore looks like, but for me it was the hook. Add to that gigabrutalistic soviet architecture heavily inspired by cosmocommunism, conflicts between radical nationalists + catholics + actually normal poles against cells of national bolsheviks, communst insugergenties, crazy individuals with their own specific yet interesting and memorable motivations to whom you actually feel some empathy (yes Iskander you magnificent b*stard, I am talking about you) and an alcoholic smoker cyborg mercenary who wants to uncover her past as the protagonist - and you get the story basis of Peripeteia. It alone makes me recommend this game. Try it out at least, it might just be the next big thing for you +LEVELS Despite some truly bad choices in The Chasm and Reclamation I actually liked the levels. First two were absolutely fantastic, 3 was a letdown, 4 is love-and-hate situation and 5 is my personal favorite. Vast and big spaces add to the atmosphere, but it is also a curse - world felt empty to me even though I understand that it is not supposed to be filled. It is just that in some places there obviously could have been more NPCs to interact with. Still I think this will be done in the next updates... I hope. And yes, there are a lot of ways to accomplish given objectives and tasks and to end them. Imsim shines here really, so many ways based on your playstyle and equipment... +GUNPLAY When it comes to how the arsenal in this game feels I can only point to F.E.A.R. Especially with "bullet-time" implant. Models and animations are janky, but the overall feeling is that you are actually shooting something that is a weapon. It is not like some modern "AAA" titles where you need to download community sound mods so that a battle rifle doesn't sound like a peashooter - weapons to kick and actually feel like weapons. +MOVEMENT Description does not lie to you - Marie is actually capable of climbing rooftops you would first imagine she couldn't. I haven't seen grapping mechanics like the in-game one before and it heavily contributes to the imsim part of the experience. Special commend on this point, absolutely marvelous stuff. +MUSIC Sometimes it plays abruptly and strangely, but altogether I would say that OST is incredibly well-picked and contributes to the whole atmosphere incredbly. But not only positives, of course. --OPTIMIZATION Something must be done about inventory and general performance. Guns falling everywhere and leaving "blanks" in the backpack only to be teleported to be thrown away is not cool. Objects failing to properly load is bad. Characters dying due to walking into couch (poor Ingrid) is really bad. Game feels janky and EA doesn't really help cover that, sometimes it just actually possible to softlock just because and important character decided to "have a seat" in a bar. ---"IMMERSIVE SIMNESS" Quite hard to describe this without spoiling details... but the game does not remember actiones, decisions and people previously met. For example Marie can talk with pro-nationalist priest about investigation in one level even when sided with communists totally. She never met the polish commander, she never heard of some consiparicy in his ranks, she sided with the opposition and still in one place she can talk to a priest like she is actually investigating this matter by the order of that captain, with them both discussing the details about... other poles who Marie couldn't possibly have known considering her going down the communist path. Nonsense. And a quite damaging at that, because game is filled with such contraditions that heavily undermine the immersive simulation side of it. 9th Exodus can do whatever they want, but it would be a real flop to release this game into 1.0 if this issue persists. Deus Ex remembered your choices through levels. Some might say "Cruelty Squad was a level-only based imsim", but Cruelty Squad didn't have recurring thru levels characters actually have a big say in other levels after being introduced. In Belgrade I agreed on a mission with a guy who I have never met previously... with him instantly recognizing Marie and her speaking to him like to a close friend of hers. Quite possibly my biggest complain sadly :( Overall Peripeteia is a game which I can only advise to try and see for yourself. First-level demo and 2 hours of "refund" time (with saves from demo actually transferring to the game itself, tested by myself) will be pretty much enough to draw a conclusion on it - will you actually play till the end and maybe even consider a hidden gem and a future cult classic, or will you just refund it thinking "who in their sane mind thought these levels will be good?" I recommend Peripeteia for its unique and addictive World, but be advised - this game is quite literal slavjank and if you cannot get over rough gameplay then you will probably pass on this one.
