Peregrin

Люблю инди-игры, где создатель рассказывает короткую, законченную и интересную историю. Если она ещё и заставляет задуматься — это приятно вдвойне. Peregrin — как раз из таких игр. Попала она в мою библиотеку благодаря купону, и это, кажется, второй купон за всё время, которым я воспользовался. Как видно по моему обзору — не пожалел. Peregrin действительно игра очень маленькая, камерная, но при этом крайне атмосферная. Причём атмосфера эта не самая типичная для современных игр — одиночества, отчуждённости, даже ничтожности. Способствует и музыка с восточными, как мне кажется, мотивами, и визуальная составляющая. На фоне огромных строений, ракет, орудий и техники погибшей цивилизации очень остро ощущаешь свою маленькость. Геймплей слегка однообразный — по сути это пазл, и даже небольшие вкрапления пошаговой боёвки тоже имеют все признаки головоломки. Но игра такая короткая, что надоесть попросту не успевает. Её можно пробежать за полтора-два часа, а полностью изучить, открыв все ачивки — за три. Подводя итог — очень атмосферная, небольшая, медитативная и очаровательная игра на один вечер. Рекомендую.

100% - 2.3 hrs Achievements - 27 Review - 5/10 - I love an indie game, so I was looking forward to this one, but unfortunately its jsut a very short game that honestly doesn't really do much. The puzzles aren't difficult, the combat is a bit meh and the story is just another take on religion and the end of the world. The game does have a really good art style and some good character design, I was looking forward to it at the start, but as I got further in it just got a bit boring, nothing really changed. I didn't enjoy having to constantly switch between characters just to complete puzzles, having to see the same animation over and over again as you switch back and forth got boring really quick and it got a bit frustrating. I feel like the placement of characters is just convenient, there isn't really any challenge as everyone is relatively close to the problem so there isn't really a lot of thinking required which is a shame. Combat was as simple as poses an enemy, use that enemy to take out another before a third enemy takes your one out, then just finish the last enemy with your weapon. And its like this all the way through. There's only 4 types of enemy, small guy, big guy, shooter and shield guy. Overall I don't think the game offers enough to get a higher rating or a thumbs up. It unfortunately is just a mediocre game. Difficulty - 1/10 Hardest Achievement - Pure Luck #1 & Pure Luck #2
