Don't need to have played previous games or even read the comics to get into it, but may lead you to just that! FF6, done as comedy!

Both chapters 3 and 4 of the Penny Arcade RPG are really good games. The combat systems have enough new ideas, and offer the player enough freedom, to be quite fun. If anything, the games left me thinking "man, I wish every RPG would use this approach to MP and items". Presentation (graphics+music) are also pretty good, and the story is great. Oh yeah, and they change up the combat/progression system enough between the two games that it doesn't feel like rehash and is worth playing both. Would recommend to RPG genre fans. Though if it's not your genre, this isn't the game to convert you.

This is a great old school game! It can be beaten in 15 hours or so (maybe less) so catch it on sale and enjoy :)
