Avoid crashing into people. Pace is rather slow. For a while it's fun but then you realize repeating gets really annoying. No power ups, no different sceneries. On plus side a lot of random obstacles, so you don't know what to expect but on a longer run it gets repetitive.
Luke Sidewinder is a 2D retro pixel walking/action game that's been slapped together with the godawful GameMaker Studio video game construction kit from Yoyogames. This is mostly a joke game as the concept is to simply walk to your destination on a crowded city street while avoiding the various nuisances on the street like pedestrians, hawkers and so on. One of the most amusing parts of the game, for me at least, was the insistence that the game is better with sound, and the game has completely atrocious sound design with some of the worst music I've heard in my life. The game features obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution and controls are locked, so there's no way to improve the very poor visual quality or the control scheme. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC. GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and unsurprisingly results in products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. Using a video game construction kit requires little to no talent or skill as a game developer. Very often, GameMaker Studio is used to make shovelware and lazy cash grabs, although in this case the game is completely free.
