Richtig süßes cozy spiel! Letty auf ihren Missionen zu begleiten macht Spaß, auch wenn manche Rätsel bisschen tricky sein können. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man aus dem Alltag raus kommen möchte und eine Entschleunigung braucht :)

Very relaxing, wholesome and cute game. Love the atmosphere, music and sounds. I especially like that you have the choice to play it completely with mouse input which is pretty on point, this makes it even more easy to play and supports the atmosphere.

Cute and relaxing game to play after a long day. The art style is absolutely beautiful, and the cozy sound design makes the whole experience even better. I highly recommend it if you just want to chill and enjoy a sweet little adventure!

Super süße kleine Welt in die man hier entführt wird. Am besten spielen wenn es draußen Regnet und man sich einkuscheln will. Die Stimme von Letty gefällt mir besonders gut und die niedlichen kleinen Details und süßen Animationen sind mega süß :D Ich habe ne Weile gebraucht um zu checken, dass auch mit WASD gesteuert werden kann, das war für mich ein bisschen angenehmer als mit der Maus!

I played Pencil Stories entirely at bedtime, and it turned out to be one of the most effective wind-down games I’ve played in a long time. The whole game takes place at night, with each “day” starting at midnight. You play as Letty, a small (and adorable) drifting letter who works the night shift, delivering mail while the rest of the village sleeps. Moving Letty through the village of Tsukinoma and watching her light up each area, with visuals that drift like watercolour, is genuinely relaxing, and I often explored just to take in the details. The music and ambient sounds (rain, trees, rivers) work really well, especially with headphones. The puzzles are light and accessible, but some lacked clear explanation. A few times I stumbled into solutions without really understanding the riddle itself. The English localisation also needs improvement, as some clues and letters are awkwardly phrased and occasionally unclear. That said, if you’re looking for a slow, visually calming game to play before sleep, something built around routine and atmosphere rather than challenge, this does exactly what it sets out to do. Schnuckliges kleines Spiel zum Entspannen am Abend. Sehr heimelige Atmosphäre und vor allem nette Sounds! Steuerung hier und da ein bisschen hakelig, aber damit kann man klarkommen.
