Peace, Death! 2

While I understand the choice to bring the base idea in a different direction, I didn't enjoy this sequel much. I appreciated that it goes for a relatively more relaxed approach, giving plenty of time to the player to examine the candidates, as they are now presented six at a time, with a fixed choice at every turn to select someone to send to Heaven, Hell or Purgatory; sometimes there are multiple right choices, other times only one is possible. Of course, day after day new traits pile up, making it more difficult to determine their destinations. Most of the traits are however presented as literal emoji beside every candidate, which feels honestly lame, and the conditions are often confusing, occasionally causing frustrating situations where the only thing you can do is try one and pray that it's right. Sometimes the game is unfair, as there are killers who get angry and attack the player, causing an instant failure, if they aren't sent to their destinations within a few turns, but if the requests don't match their traits too many times, you either lose the round or sacrifice one heart uselessly. There's also all the content surrounding the main gameplay, which I found simply boring to play and, beside the gag with Death and vampire clients, not even enjoyable in terms of writing. Even the graphics, while cleaner and more detailed, lack character compared to the previous game, and the music gets exhausting. Nothing to say about the sprites, though: their variety is great and it overflows with pop culture references.

Хоть и проходил давным-давно первую часть и мало что о ней помню, но тем не менее хочу сказать, что вторая часть ничуть не хуже первой. Основа геймплея осталась такой же, но были добавлены некоторые новые элементы. Здешний юмор позабавил, а среди душ узнавать знакомых персонажей и людей - отдельная приятная вещь. И саундтрек классный - добавил в плейлист. Однозначно рекомендую

Игра конечно, более унылая относительно первой части, атмосфера совершенно другая, цветовая гамма, освещение, не вдохновляет на прохождение...

Ремейк лучшей игры в мире!

радует, что хоть здесь исправились и сделали более нормальные ачивки...

Отличная игра с хорошим сюжетом и пиксельной рисовкой, характер персонажей и гг проявляется в ходе сюжета, является лучшей из линейки Peace. Death!. К покупке рекомендую

A nice blend of challenging but not brainmelting decision making. First I feared making it turn based (most of the time) would deflate the concept too much, but the interaction between the ppl in the later stages would not be possible to work with otherwise and improved the experience quite a bit. There is a slither of luck that can hinder you from time to time, but most of the bad development in a day is due to unoptimized decision making!!! I see myself revisiting this gem every few months, after this.
