Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 691/day in the week to Jul 17 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Alles braucht Zeit.
Spend hours trying to find NPC that gives crafting item on kill. Spend hours getting other materials to craft item. Get enough materials to make 2. Craft says its "Easy". Fail both times on the craft, lose all materials. Uninstall game.

Love this game ! Definitely not a mainstream game and wouldn't suggest it to anyone. But for gamers that love to gather/craft and sandboxes then it's an absolute gem. Wouldn't recommend if you're just looking for a traditional MMO with quests, story and npcs. This is a sandbox game for sure and it's awesome at being that !
This is not a game for impatient folks or instant gratification seekers. You will need to find a clan and rely on each other for most content. The graphics are great and although there are some bugs to work out and some things to button up, I recommend this as a long term game with friends, which most of the community I have interacted with have been super cool. Crafting is robust and varied. You will need to invest some time to fully enjoy the game. My hope is that it continues to grow and evolve into one of those games you can spend years going back to. For an old school gamer like me, I have high hopes.
I’ve been waiting years for a game like this. I started my online MMO journey with Ultima Online and ran through WoW up to Wrath of the Lich King. Since then, I’ve played tons of games such as Valheim, New World, Enshrouded, Planet Crafter, The Long Dark, Medieval Dynasty, Satisfactory, and plenty more, but this one takes the cake. Unfortunately you will hear people nitpicking small issues, but it’s still in active development and constantly improving. The devs have been clear about their commitment to fixing things, and I’m betting they’ll deliver. I’ve logged over 570 hours since launch, and am absolutely hooked. If you’re looking for a survival sandbox with no forced quests, no time limits, no rushing, a pure freedom to build, explore, and progress at your own pace in a stunning, immersive world… this is it. Hands down, the best game I’ve played to date.
I had a lot of hopes for Pax Dei but looks like they hit a dead end. Monthly subscriptions to a game with a dead end grind is probably just not the way to go. Give everyone 30 days to log in to keep their plot and at least double the size of the free plot. All your crafted items are for the birds, ironically they added birds now. The game is beautifully crafted and the details to the damage to the armor is amazing. This game needs a developer that knows how to do more than use AI to update old assets. It needs missions, dialogue, traveling npcs to fill the trails as well as bring their own caravans to player builds to shop for items for their journey. Instead the developers thought hey look at this stone and trade everyone wirelessly in medieval times. Trade for what? Useless items if you have already done the dead end grind.
This game is a scam, don't buy it.
At the time of writing this review, I’ve logged over 2,000 hours in the game, so I’ll keep this as concise and honest as possible. The Issues First, let’s address the negatives. The biggest complaint you’ll hear is the grind. Personally, I don’t see that as a flaw, every MMO has a gameplay loop built around progression and repetition. It’s not for everyone, but I actually enjoy it. Bugs, however, are a different story. At times, they become excessive and frustrating. There are moments where the developers seem out of their depth when it comes to stability and polish. The real issue, the one that ultimately made me step away is the lack of meaningful endgame content. This is where the game falls short. After putting in the effort to reach level 40 (I’m a level 40 weaponsmith with multiple melee skills also at 40), there’s no real payoff. Sure, you can craft Tier 4 blue weapons but then what? You’re left repeating the same dungeons or turning to PvP. And PvP, which is essentially the endgame, isn’t appealing to a large portion of the player base. When the core endgame loop doesn’t engage most players, it becomes a major problem. The Good That said, the game does a lot right. Visually, it’s stunning. The valleys have a cozy, almost Valheim-like atmosphere, while the Pale regions deliver genuinely eerie, unsettling vibes. It’s easily a 10/10 in terms of art direction and immersion. It also stands out in the MMO genre by allowing players to build massive castles. That level of creative freedom at scale is rare, and they’ve executed it impressively well another 10/10. Finally, the player-driven experience is refreshing. There are no quest markers or hand-holding systems guiding you from point A to B. For some, that’s a drawback but for others, it’s a strength. The game gives you the tools and lets you create your own story. If the developers continue to expand on this foundation, the potential is enormous. I’d rate this aspect an 8/10. At the end of the day I love Pax Dei. Its a niche game and its not for everyone. But if you like survival crafting and building check it out. Long live Pax Dei
Do not buy this game. These developers are scammers.
