Pathologic 2

There are games that will break the 4th wall to point you in the right direction, that will give you some sort of shortcut to avoid frustration and will throw at you that eventual "word of faith" so you can never get lost, then... There is Pathologic 2. The moment you start playing is the moment something inside you starts to shift, you can feel it with every step, you notice it with every sound and with every new dialogue you go deeper into the rabbit hole; Starvation, Dehydration, Fatigue and Moral Choices, all is there to humor your misery as you try to figure out what in the world is happening around you... And then when you thought you had finally made it, had found the answer/answers to your predicament, something more is there... And it is there to remind you that Pathologic 2 is not about finding the perfect run, or the same happy ending of every other video game, but to bear the weight of your own choices in a world that offers a raw and uncomfortable experience and make the most of it. I guarantee that if you are a deep thinker, if you are looking for THAT game like no other, something that will make you question your own mind, then this is the game for you. You too shall find... Despite all its misery, despite all the brutality and adversity you will learn to be grateful, even for those little brief moments of reprieve, you will keep on playing because it's in our own human nature to keep trying, we keep trying for a better outcome, to make some sense of all of it. - Controls: 6/7 (Fairly simple, easy to understand) - Graphics: 6/7 rated this high because for a non AAA studio it delivers. - Design & Pacing: 7/7 (You will feel like playing at gun point) - Difficulty: 10/7 The Pathologic Experience (YOU WILL DIE) - Gameplay: 5/7 Challenging (New generations might have trouble to figure things out) - Storytelling/Narrative : 10/7 (Only a genius could come up with something like this) - Audio/Soundtrack: 6/7 Ominous, immersive, mysterious and with a little air of hope.
