In Spacebase DF-9, you'll build a home among the stars for a motley population of humans and aliens as they go about their daily lives. Mine asteroids, discover derelicts, and deal with the tribulations of galactic resettlement in Earth's distant future.

Do not buy! This game is an unfinished, buggy mess. There was a long list of promises that remain unfulfilled. Double Fine took the money and ran, even admitting that they stopped development because it was costing them too much money.
This game had so much potential. It was never finished. It's been almost 9 years since I bought this game and I'm still so disappointed that I'm taking the time to write this negative review.
I'm surprised this game is even for sale still. Shouldn't be legal.
It sure was thoughtful of Double Fine to unearth a prototype of an abandoned MS-DOS game and make it easily accessible for the public! There's a skeleton of a decent idea here and seems to run okay but I'm glad Bullfrog made Theme Hospital instead! ...what do you mean this was made in 2014? This is still being sold for 10 dollars in the year 2026? There's a public apology by the Double Fine CEO posted on the Steam discussion board?! Oh nooooooooooo....
Spacebase DF-9 is broken, unfinished, abandoned, and should be delisted. If you want a finished version of this game, check out `Space Haven`.
Abandonware full of bugs and very little content. Avoid.
Game has been abandoned.
Not finished and abandoned by the developer. I expected way better from Double Fine back in the day. Steam should stop selling this game or put an abandoned, or some other warning on the store.
no it's not abandoned they're just giving it a couple decades, trust
I don't understand how they're still allowed to sell this, tbh
