Prices

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 24.71/day in the week to Aug 31 → 25.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
In Pathogenic, you are the disease. Experience a visceral 2D roguelike twin-stick shooter where you play as a lone parasite fighting a desperate war against the immune system. Your goal is simple: infect and conquer your human host.

To survive, you must adapt. Hunt down enemy cells, rip out their organelles, and graft them onto your own body. Evolve from a simple cell into a complex engine of destruction. Create powerful, game-breaking builds and become the ultimate pathogen.

Loot, graft, and assemble your parasite from dozens of unique organelles. Combine flagella for movement, mitochondria for power, secretors for ranged attacks, and spikes for melee combat. Chain organelle effects and discover powerful synergies to build an unstoppable disease vector.

Battle a diverse roster of enemies, from basic immune cells like macrophages and T cells to rival parasites such as tapeworms or protozoa. Formidable bosses are lurking deep within the host's organs.

Collect plasmid fragments to permanently upgrade your parasite's plasmid tree between runs. Each parasite will have it's own upgrade tree allowing for a range of builds to suit your preferred playstyle.

Navigate the procedurally generated organic landscape of the human body. Travel through distinct biomes like the branching pathways of the lungs, the pulsating chambers of the heart, and the complex neural network of the brain.
Our detailed, colorful world is powered by a soft-body physics simulation, giving every cell, enemy, and projectile a uniquely satisfying organic feel. The combination of hand-crafted design and procedural generation ensures endless variety - each run offers a fresh and challenging gameplay experience.

Very solid game. Difficult. Already easily had my money's worth even without being able to beat a single run yet, maybe 6 hours in.

Only game to keep me as addicted as Hades
Its got the right amount of buttons. Its complex without being complicated. It's got good music, and honestly, I wouldn't mind a revolving playlist or even an upload your own music option. The music mechanic is underutilized, but is one of my favorite aspects of the game. Not the pseudo rhythm game already there, but the concept of a music game integration. Anyway, maybe as like a supercharge go crazy thing. Its a pretty damn fun game. I like germs. What else is there to say? Tiny monsters.
Looks and concept are fantastic — but build variety is pure luck Pathogenic looks fantastic and the core idea — eating your way through the human body as a pathogen while grafting together a build mid-run — is genuinely original. The soft-body visuals, the organ biomes, the concept itself: excellent. The problem is how in-run progression is handled. Weapons and buffs are offered completely at random, with no way to ban, prioritize, or reliably boost specific combos. Rerolls are rare and expensive. That would be fine if (almost) every combination were somewhat viable — but they're not. You genuinely need working synergies to see the later bosses, otherwise the run is just dead no matter how well you play. Making it worse, the organelle pool is large and runs are long (easily 20-30 minutes before reaching the later organs). You often only realize late that your drops don't fit together — after already sinking a lot of time into a run that never had a real chance, through no fault of your own. For players who enjoy pure build randomness as the thrill itself, this is a strong game. But if you like planning deliberately and want failures to at least partly be on you, you'll hit frustration regularly here — not from your own mistakes, but from a lack of control over a large, unfilterable pool combined with long runs. That said — for €10, it's genuinely good fun. The art, the concept, the moment-to-moment gameplay all deliver well above the price point. If the balancing and loot control get some love in future updates, this could be close to perfect. Verdict: Great idea, great visuals, but the lack of control over the loot pool during long runs too often turns a potentially excellent build-craft game into a pretty-looking gamble. Recommended for the price — just go in knowing that pure randomness will decide a lot of your runs, not you.
Very solidly priced (10 bucks) for a high quality visually appealing fun game. Game stuff: +Beautiful graphics +Creative theme (inside the human body) +Good performance +Good UI +Easy controls (takes 30 sec to learn) +Jump in and play 1-2 runs, call it a day Other plus: +No DLC +No subscription / microtransactions +No in-game ads +No EULA stealing ur data +No Denuvo bs +No 3rd party launcher +No log-in rewards / watch on twitch to get X skin / dailies or weekly missions. +No DEI bs I'd say this is amongst the top tier Bullet hell games. Get it.
Beware this game is RNG heavy. World 2 boss is 4x faster than you and you didn't randomly get any speed upgrades? Sorry, start again!
A well polished experience with amazing visuals and a great system of progression. Its akin to Isaac in how you can enhance your attacks with pick ups , but the system is designed in a way where you need to have it connected to the weapon itself , and they all interact with one another in very cool ways. It does have settings you can adjust to make the game a bit more relaxed with the lowering of the HPs of the mobs if you so desire. Amazing experience so far , and I am sure It will be enjoyable to work through the game.
