Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 24.71/day in the week to Aug 31 → 25.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
In Pathogenic, you are the disease. Experience a visceral 2D roguelike twin-stick shooter where you play as a lone parasite fighting a desperate war against the immune system. Your goal is simple: infect and conquer your human host.

To survive, you must adapt. Hunt down enemy cells, rip out their organelles, and graft them onto your own body. Evolve from a simple cell into a complex engine of destruction. Create powerful, game-breaking builds and become the ultimate pathogen.

Loot, graft, and assemble your parasite from dozens of unique organelles. Combine flagella for movement, mitochondria for power, secretors for ranged attacks, and spikes for melee combat. Chain organelle effects and discover powerful synergies to build an unstoppable disease vector.

Battle a diverse roster of enemies, from basic immune cells like macrophages and T cells to rival parasites such as tapeworms or protozoa. Formidable bosses are lurking deep within the host's organs.

Collect plasmid fragments to permanently upgrade your parasite's plasmid tree between runs. Each parasite will have it's own upgrade tree allowing for a range of builds to suit your preferred playstyle.

Navigate the procedurally generated organic landscape of the human body. Travel through distinct biomes like the branching pathways of the lungs, the pulsating chambers of the heart, and the complex neural network of the brain.
Our detailed, colorful world is powered by a soft-body physics simulation, giving every cell, enemy, and projectile a uniquely satisfying organic feel. The combination of hand-crafted design and procedural generation ensures endless variety - each run offers a fresh and challenging gameplay experience.

Such an amazing game. I think those who enjoy biology, medicine etc would enjoy seeing relevant themes here too 😮💨 It's super fun experimenting with different combinations and pathogens aswell Also runs amazingly well overall stable 1440p 120fps on highest settings although with certain organelles and combinations at a high level frames drop like crazy for some reason (most likely my low vram)
The demo alone was more of a full fledged game than most early access games. The devs really cooked with this one definitely worth your time!

its good

I pumped 20 hours into the demo It's so refreshing to see something new within this genre that hits hard. I've yet to find a single flaw in this game, each run is so unique. The music is cracking, visually it's striking. It really does feel like you're a tiny pathogen cruising through someone's body and causing havoc.
Finally, the release of a truly polished and original roguelike. The fact that the feedback is almost unanimously positive is for good reason: - How could I not start with the incredible originality that gives the game its soul? Playing as a pathogen infecting human organs one by one is just so much fun! Each organ has its own art style and gameplay mechanics that align with its real-life biology. The game is simply beautiful and soothing. What could have been a visual nightmare is actually a real treat, thanks to smooth, soft designs—everything focuses on curves (which makes sense, given the shape of cells). I’d also add that the UI and mechanics are highly intuitive; this is likely one of its biggest strengths compared to other games in the genre (ahem... *Primordialis*... ahem... ahem...). Everything is fluid, clear, and simple. - Gameplay-wise, it’s a classic roguelike that blends dungeon-crawling with bullet-hell elements. The system of external weapons and internal upgrades or powers that synergize with one another works really well. Without giving too much away, there’s a system for linking items and evolving your pathogen—combined with positive and negative attributes—that forces you to make tough choices. These decisions completely shape the rest of your run, making every playthrough unique. Each pathogen you play feels distinct, with its own evolutions and characteristics, and the balance between melee and ranged combat is excellent. - The procedural level design keeps every run feeling fresh (the trailer is a great representation of the visuals, as it clearly uses actual in-game footage). Every little detail in the menus is a fantastic touch that’s a joy to discover. The enemies are well-designed and easily identifiable, with characteristics specific to each class. As a biology fan, it’s a blast seeing pathogens you’ve previously viewed under a microscope come to life on screen and deliver some serious beatings. The bosses are a bit easy, but the difficulty level is adjustable and tied to an incremental reward system. - The local co-op mode is great fun, though only one pathogen is playable (the diatom, where each player controls half). To be honest, it’s actually amusing to get in each other's way while moving and end up stuck because you're pulling in opposite directions (a bit like in *Bang-Bang Barrage*, for those familiar with it). It would have been awesome to each play a separate pathogen in multiplayer (like in some other major titles in the genre). - With Workshop support right at launch, the full game content, the meta-progression system, the codex, and more—the game is packed with well-executed features that suggest it was made with genuine passion and enjoyment, and that really shines through! A few downsides, though: - The timer keeps running in edit mode (given that several challenges are timed, this makes the task unnecessarily harder). - Some late-game challenges (no spoilers) require actions that are honestly too difficult for a casual player to figure out without watching a tutorial. - A minor issue where the controller disconnects (and won't reconnect) if you touch even a single keyboard key—for instance, to lower the volume slightly (it happens rarely, but still). - All activatable powers are mapped to the same button (so, for example, the laser, turret spawn, and energy boost all trigger at once when you press it, with no option to rebind them individually). - A slight balance issue with the dodge mechanic: you can easily become invincible by spamming it if you pick up two or three refreshes and two invincibility boosts. ... (nothing too serious). In short, if you're on the fence about buying the game, know that it's well worth the price and you won't be disappointed! I recommend it to anyone who enjoys roguelikes in this style—casual or otherwise—for a few rounds of pure fun every now and then! Have fun :)
