About
Your path will lead you to the Worldwound, where the opening of a rift to the Abyss has unleashed all-consuming terror across the land. For over a century, the neighboring nations have fought fearlessly, trying to drive the enemy back — but to little avail.
Now, you have the chance to put an end to this conflict, but the path to salvation is far from clear-cut. Will you become a shining angel, backed by noble paladins? Or a powerful necromancer with hordes of immortal undead in your thrall? Or something else entirely? Lead your army and challenge mighty demon lords. Your crusade will set in motion a chain of events that will leave you — and the world itself — forever changed.
Create any character imaginable with the flexibility, richness, and depth of the Pathfinder First Edition ruleset. Choose from 25 classes, 12 character races, and more than a thousand spells, feats, and abilities to suit your personal playstyle.
Your decisions have more weight than ever before. Your goal is clear, but you must forge your own path to it. Who will die, and who will live? Who will stay, and who will go? Make your choices, and watch the world around you change.
Enjoy two combat modes as you slay your enemies – real-time with pause or turn-based. Switch between them on the fly, so you can always take things as slowly — or as quickly — as you like. The unique Pathfinder ruleset also allows you to perform advanced combat maneuvers, like mounted combat. Use them wisely!
A cast of more than 10 unique companions is ready to join your cause. Earn their trust and respect, and they will have your back no matter what dangers lie ahead. And if you get on their bad side, well… Maybe it’s time to part ways.
You will need much more than a party of adventurers to cleanse the land of its demonic scourge. Take command of the crusaders and lead them to victory – both as a strategist, controlling the battle from above, and as a field commander, in a new tactical combat mode.
Explore nine unique Mythic Paths: obtain extraordinary abilities and shape everything that comes next. Your decisions might transform you into a celestial Angel, a raging Demon, a powerful Lich, a cunning Trickster, an otherworldly Aeon, a rebellious Azata, a wise Gold Dragon, an insatiable Swarm That Walks — or remain mortal and walk the arduous fantasy path toward becoming a living Legend.

Душнейшая в боевке, игровым механикам, QOL фичам, но достойная игра. Когда-нибудь, когда позабуду сюжет обязательно перепройду.
Mechanicznie bez wątpienia najlepszy rpg w historii, cudowna gra mimo że ogólnie bardziej gry Larianów lubię.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Awsome.
I've played a little bit of this. I haven't played as much of Pathfinder as I have with Solasta, Baldur's Gate, etc. The reasons I find because of it... I am not a fan of the character creator, specifically with their appearance and the portrait. I also don't have the most fun with how it feels like the game is just combat and talking, with a little bit of travelling and walking to get between the two. However, I remember when I first started playing the game, my immediate response to "I don't know how I feel about this." Is with the camera mechanics, and that is probably more of a personal preference, but I wasn't a fan of it.
If the Dragon Age saga made you fall in love with role-playing games and Baldur’s Gate 3 introduced you to the freedom of the genre, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is the ultimate test. It’s not the kind of game that holds your hand; it slaps you in the face, throws a thousand-page rulebook at you, and then challenges you to become a demigod. After 82.5 hours spent calculating attack modifiers, planning feats, and leading a Crusade against the demonic hordes of the Wordwound, I can say with absolute certainty as a professional gamer: Owlcat Games’ title is a monumental masterpiece of geometric complexity and narrative epicness. A true fix for the mind and the heart. From a technical and mathematical standpoint, Wrath of the Righteous offers a level of customization that makes every other RPG seem like child’s play. With more than 25 base classes, dozens of subclasses (archetypes), and hundreds of feats and spells faithfully adapted from the Pathfinder 1st Edition tabletop game rules, the character creation screen isn’t just a menu—it’s a college-level course. During my 82 hours of play, a significant portion of that time flew by simply as I enjoyed the synergy between stats, calculated how to stack Armor Class (AC) bonuses, and planned my party’s progression. The technical satisfaction of seeing your build work flawlessly—turning a seemingly unbeatable boss into a pile of pulverized pixels on high difficulty—is an intellectual pleasure that very few games can provide. But the true stroke of genius—the element that elevates this installment above the previous *Kingmaker*—is the Mythic Paths mechanic. You’re not just the leader of a crusade: you’re literally ascending to a higher form of existence. The game lets you choose whether to become an Angel of Vengeful Light, a Furious Demon, a Trickster who manipulates reality with irony, or even an immortal Lich leading an army of skeletons. This isn’t just an aesthetic choice or an extra skill tree. The Mythic Path rewrites the plot, changes the dialogue, unlocks unique companions, and radically alters the way the world reacts to you. It’s the highest level of “roleplay” and power management ever seen in a CRPG. Owlcat Games decided to go all out, incorporating a full-fledged Heroes of Might and Magic-style strategy mode into the RPG. Managing the Crusader armies, moving troops across the world map, recruiting paladins and generals, and fighting tactical grid-based battles can initially be disorienting and disrupt the flow of the game. But once you understand the mechanics, this mode gives the game an immense sense of epic scale: you truly feel the weight of command and the responsibility of repelling the invasion from the Abyss. Behind the daunting mountain of statistics and dice rolls lies an incredibly mature and profound story. The tone is dark, dramatic, and at times distressing, yet permeated with flashes of brilliant humor. The companions are portrayed with rare intelligence: from Daeran’s psychological complexity to Seelah’s fervor, to Nenio’s delightful and chaotic madness, and Arueshalae’s redemption. The dialogue is dense, rich with moral nuances, and the companions’ personal quests force you to grapple with the concepts of faith, corruption, forgiveness, and sacrifice. You grow attached to them precisely because, in the midst of an apocalyptic war between angels and demons, they remain beautifully and fragile human (or elves, or succubi). Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is a titan of role-playing games. It’s immense, multi-layered, and at times punishing, but it rewards every single hour invested with an off-the-charts amount of content, epicness, and gameplay satisfaction. 82.5 hours are just the beginning of an extraordinary journey in which you—and you alone—decide whether to save the world as a saint or condemn it as a monster. A must-buy for anyone who considers themselves a true connoisseur of classic RPGs.
Crunchy to the point of unplayability. It is required to read and follow a 3rd party guide otherwise you're going to make a team that loses fights at level 3 on story mode.
A bit janky at times, definitely on the overwhelming side, but there's not many CRPGs that can claim to equal that one in grandeur.
complex cRPG with intricate character management and advancement, intricate story
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is an enormous, ambitious CRPG that rewards curiosity, patience and a willingness to learn. It has some of the deepest character-building I've encountered, fantastic companions and an epic story — but also a few systems that made me question whether the developers were trying to make one game or five. In the end, Wrath of the Righteous is a massive, complicated and occasionally frustrating RPG — but also one that manages to deliver something genuinely special. It has more character-building options than I knew what to do with, a fantastic story, memorable companions and enough content to keep you busy for well over 100 hours. Some systems annoyed me, some confused me, and the Crusade nearly made me question my life choices. But despite all of that, I had a damn good time. And somewhere along the way, my Demon Bloodrager stopped being just another character and became my character. Halvar Rödskägg. ---{ Graphics }--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☑ Good ☐ Decent ☐ Showing its age ☐ Looks better after 100 hours ☐ MS-DOS Good graphics, but nothing spectacular. The game relies more on its content than visual fidelity. ---{ Gameplay }--- ☐ It's just gameplay ☐ Decent ☑ Very good ☐ Excellent ☐ Has achieved Mythic Rank 10 Excellent RPG mechanics, tactical combat and character progression. Some systems interrupt the flow, but the core gameplay is very good. ---{ Character Creation }--- ☐ Pick a class and go ☐ A few meaningful choices ☐ Deep ☑ Ridiculously deep ☐ I know exactly what I'm doing ☐ I need to consult the Council of Elders An enormous amount of freedom. Respeccing makes experimentation easy, but figuring out which choices are actually good is another matter. ---{ Classes & Builds }--- ☐ Simple ☐ Plenty of options ☐ Deep ☑ Some classes have a ridiculous number of choices ☐ I know exactly what I'm doing ☐ I accidentally enrolled in Pathfinder University Some classes throw an absurd number of feats, abilities and archetypes at you. Great for theorycrafting, slightly terrifying for everyone else. ---{ Multiclassing }--- ☐ Not really necessary ☐ A few interesting combinations ☐ Useful ☑ Extremely interesting ☐ Completely overwhelming ☐ I started planning a build and woke up three hours later Multiclassing opens up an enormous number of possibilities. Fascinating, powerful and absolutely gigantic. ---{ Difficulty }--- ☐ Just press 'W' ☐ Easy ☐ Easy to learn / Hard to master ☑ Difficult ☐ Very difficult ☐ The demons have read the rulebook Difficult even for an experienced gamer. Understanding resistances, AC, saves, buffs and debuffs is often more important than traditional gaming skill. ---{ Pathfinder Nerdiness }--- ☐ Casual gamer ☐ Experienced RPG player ☑ RPG enthusiast ☐ Pathfinder expert ☐ Has the Core Rulebook tattooed on their back You don't need to master every system, and crafting or potion-making can mostly be ignored. But understanding the basic Pathfinder rules makes a huge difference. ---{ Combat }--- ☐ Click until something dies ☐ Tactical ☑ Highly tactical ☐ Mostly mathematics ☐ I live in the combat log Preparation and understanding your party matter enormously. Once the systems click, beating a difficult enemy is genuinely satisfying. ---{ Story }--- ☐ Barely there ☐ Some lore ☐ Decent ☑ Very good ☐ Excellent ☐ I am now personally responsible for saving the world An epic story involving demons, angels, gods and mythic powers. Your character becomes increasingly important to the world around them. ---{ Mythic Paths }--- ☐ Minor character upgrade ☐ Nice addition ☑ Major part of the game ☐ Completely transforms everything ☐ I became a god ☐ I have transcended the character sheet Mythic Paths make characters feel unique and give the game huge replayability. ---{ Companions }--- ☐ Mostly forgettable ☐ They're alright ☐ Very good ☑ Excellent ☐ I would die for these fictional people Strong personalities, individual stories and plenty of memorable characters. They're much more than extra combat slots. ---{ Weapons }--- ☐ Plenty of upgrades ☐ Good variety ☑ Too few useful weapons ☐ I always found something suitable ☐ My build got what it deserved My biggest loot frustration. You can specialize in a weapon type and then go far too long without finding a good upgrade. ---{ Rest & Fatigue }--- ☐ Never an issue ☐ Adds atmosphere ☐ Fine for an RPG ☑ Frustrating ☐ Tabletop immersion ☐ My legendary heroes need their afternoon nap Having to rest is understandable. Having fatigue force you back to a city just to recover feels more like an errand than gameplay. ---{ Crafting & Potions }--- ☐ Essential ☐ Important ☑ Mostly optional ☐ Useful ☐ I crafted everything ☐ My party operates a pharmaceutical company Thankfully, you can largely ignore crafting and potion-making. I never felt forced to become a medieval pharmacist. ---{ Crusade }--- ☐ Loved it ☐ Enjoyed it ☐ It's okay ☐ Tolerable ☑ Hated it ☐ I came here to play a strategy game Easily my least favourite part. If I want to play a strategy game, I want to play a good one — thankfully, the computer can take over. ---{ Exploration }--- ☐ Small and focused ☐ Linear ☐ Decent ☑ Huge ☐ Practically endless ☐ "I'll just check this one room" Huge areas packed with secrets, encounters and side content. It's very easy to forget what you were actually supposed to be doing. ---{ Audio }--- ☐ Eargasm ☑ Very good ☐ Good ☐ Not too bad ☐ Bad ☐ I am now deaf Great atmosphere and a soundtrack that fits the epic scale of the game. ---{ Game Size }--- ☐ Floppy Disk ☐ Old Fashioned ☐ Workable ☑ Absolutely massive ☐ Requires a second hard drive ☐ Requires its own plane of existence An enormous amount of content, systems and possible builds. There is enough here for several games. ---{ Game Time }--- ☐ Long enough for a cup of coffee ☐ Short ☐ Average ☑ Very long ☐ Ridiculously long ☐ "I'll finish it this weekend" A serious time investment. The length is impressive, although it makes the weaker systems harder to ignore. ---{ Replayability }--- ☐ None ☐ Limited ☐ Decent ☑ Huge ☐ Practically infinite ☐ If only I had the strength to do it again Different Mythic Paths, builds, companions and choices give it enormous replayability. **Replayability: excellent. Motivation to replay: questionable.** ---{ Bugs }--- ☐ Never heard of ☑ Minor bugs ☐ Noticeable ☐ Can get annoying ☐ ARK: Survival Evolved ☐ The bugs have their own Mythic Path Some minor bugs and occasional weirdness, but nothing that ruined the experience. ---{ PC Requirements }--- ☐ Check if you can run Paint ☑ Decent ☐ Fast ☐ High tech ☐ Ask NASA ☐ Summon a Lich to upgrade your PC ---{ Rating }--- ☐ 1 ☐ 2 ☐ 3 ☐ 4 ☐ 5 ☐ 6 ☐ 7 ☑ 8.5 ☐ 9 ☐ 10
