About
Hop on, we’re leaving, and your new life awaits! Paralives is a sandbox life simulation game with a great cast of Townies to meet, as well as a vibrant open-world town to explore and make your own. You will feel right at home, should you choose to embark.
Whether you focus on your career, finding love, building a family, or becoming the richest person in town, the story is yours to write in Paralives. But twists and forks in the road await. What will you leave behind?
Thanks to an ever-evolving catalog of furniture, decor and clutter objects, staging the perfect homes for your Parafolks will be a breeze: resize, recolor, stack and place items freely for a tactile building experience.
Paralives allows truly grid-less constructions with curved walls, split-level floors and more. Recreating your house or building an intricate 8-story mansion has never been this easy.
You will be handed an advanced character creator called the Paramaker. Adjust the height of your Parafolks, tweak a wide array of facial and body features, design stylish outfits and create complex personalities. From head to toe, no small detail will be left out!

I want to love this game so much and honestly, I do but right now, it is completely broken. I have already invested 20 hours into Paralives, only for my save file to become an unplayable mess due to game-breaking crashes. The culprit? A dirty plate is literally floating somewhere in my Para's house, and every single time the game tries to process it, the entire thing freezes and crashes. I'm stuck, and 20 hours of progress are completely held hostage by a piece of flying tableware. Please, developers, fix your game. I am desperate to keep playing, but I physically can't right now. I will gladly change this to a positive review the second these game-breaking bugs are patched, but until then, it’s a frustrating thumbs down. Fix the crashes!
too laggy, some features do not work at all.
its boring and needs a lot of updates
Das Spiel hat schon im Early Access soviel von dem was ich mir in Sims immer gewünscht habe.
Boring and bare-bones right now. Wait until it comes out of early access to get it. It's also like really ugly animation and texture wise, it definitely feels like an indie game in a bad way.
i cannot recommend this game as it is now. it keeps freezing. it also is hard to find options for the game because the different menus are sort of hidden and it's not obvious how to change settings in them. i was expecting some bugs, but not where the screen goes fuzzy and there's nothing to click so i have to force quit the game (which means it doesn't save). this has happened multiple times. what is the point of trying a game where progress is routinely lost? i just got a file conflict error and lost more than 2 hours of gameplay. the cloud save is also not working so it won't let me play the game unless i mess it up further. (happened a second time since my last edit, i'm uninstalling this game until they get this game functional) it also feels hollow somehow? the chat interactions are not implemented well, it feels more like a chore than conversations. not being able to back out of the cards to pick for the day is also annoying. they have bikes, but you can't use them lol. the buildings are interesting though, and i like the customization options for everything. there aren't enough options for customizing for the actual paras imo, not enough skin tones or eyes, etc i'm honestly pissed that i purchased the early access with how many bugs there are in-game and with saving, i was not expecting it to be THIS bad. it should have been cheaper for essentially being a beta tester. the only way to report bugs is being in the game and i can't get in so... lol
This game is EXACTLY like the Sims but worse. It's sad, and I will try again in a few years. There is VERY little content. The mechanics aren't as interesting, the characters are not nearly as autonomous (ex they won't go up and talk to people on their own ever and no one will talk to them). I played for 14 hours and felt like there was nothing left to do. There's just nothing to work towards, no bonuses from more expensive furniture, no perks from higher career ranks, no characteristics to strive for, and the characteristics don't seem to actually do anything. Just a lot of waiting around with no pay off.
There's nothing to do really, definitely not worth 40 bucks. Played everything you could in like a day or 2. Building isn't user friendly and is still very glitchy. The houses are surrounded by buildings or trees that get in the way of gameplay. Even once the game is fully released I don't think it has any real potential. I will change my review if the game improves as it develops.
Обычно подобные игры покупают те, кому надоел симс. Вы, конечно, можете потратить деньги, чтобы за время игры понять, что симс вам, все-таки, не особо то и надоел.
