I really like this game. The characters are cute and fun, the island beautiful. Is it the best game ever? No. But it's a fun and incredibly relaxing game and I can't wait what they will add to it. After all it's an indie game that reminds of Animal Crossing and they most likely had less than the $100-ish million Nintendo had :D What I like most is that it supports a good cause. We need more games doing that!
I played this when it came out on PS4, when I saw it was coming to PC I was cautiously optimistic that they'd have ironed out the bugginess... but they have not. It's still really glitchy. Arguably worse in some ways. There's more content, and now DLC, which I won't risk buying when the core game is so dysfunctional. I really want to love this, because while I don't like the character design I love the way the rest of the game looks visually. It's got great flair. They removed the tutorial because it was so glitchy, as they say in the forums for the game. Which is an odd way to handle glitches, just removing features. They didn't however remove the achievement related to the tutorial, so you can't get it at all. I cannot place wallpaper, I just lay it on the ground. I had zero issues with any other items I place down. Well, other than restarting to see if the tutorial would work or if it would fix the wallpaper... [didn't read the forums before trying]. And, it made it so I accidentally duplicated all my house items by picking them up. The first attempt kind of ghost picked up the items, I assumed it was a visual glitch but after picking it up a second time and it working I had 2 in my inventory of everything. Still couldn't customize the walls, so that achievement is also glitched along with that basic functionality. I remember it working fine on PS4. The money constantly resets itself back to 1k. That's why I say it's arguably worse than PS4, at least on there I could save up and buy a purple skin. I can't save for anything in this version, can't even get 100% achievements [though it was a chore to even get the trophies on PS4]. It randomly skips days in the daily gift system. And the 7 day reward achievement will pop without actually redeeming a whole week's worth of rewards, I just had the first and 7th and it popped. So that one is glitched in the opposite direction. Initially I couldn't chop down any trees. The item to chop them down just broke on the first tree and I had no idea what was happening. I don't know if it's intended or not, but you get a new set of tools every time you sign into the game. When I was trying to work out the glitches I did a lot of close/opening the game and the starfish on the beach would return, despite still being in my inventory. I broke my shovel planting some trees and the broken tools just flop to the ground and the broken one prevented me from planting a tree where I wanted. No character on the map who is indicated to be in their house is actually ever in their house. Especially the tutorial character who you originally helped find a house, you go in their house and they aren't there. You exit, and they are outside their door immediately going back inside. You can talk to them, but it's a generic quest as they removed the tutorial portion of this. I got stuck once there with the camera breaking and not letting me see anywhere but the zoomed in character. This character often gets her quest notification stuck on screen as well and it blocks a sizeable portion of it. Often times it won't properly register a controller and display the controller settings. I've had it accurately show controller buttons twice. Doesn't seem to matter if the controller is connected prior to the boot up or not, it's random on when it wants to work. It's also hard to tell how to sell in bulk, if you can. I'm pretty sure I've done it before, accidentally. But I don't really know for sure. Either way selling one at a time something 30+ times that's worth 2 coins is a nightmare. So the UI needs some work. It's just still got so many problems that I can't recommend anybody waste their time on it. Even beyond the glitches, I don't know that there's a ton of variety there. The characters are just quest givers, not characters like AC that it's clearly inspired by. And while I do like the indoor customization and how it lets you make things diagonal it's not enough. Speaking of that, it reminded me of one final glitch I'll mention. I also had issues placing down items in my house. It would say I couldn't place things when I clearly could. I accidentally pick up a table, no problem I'll put it back, nope. It "can't be placed" there even though that's where it just was. It wouldn't even let me place them in open areas with nothing around. I would have to unequip and reequip things and try to get them to work. It eventually would, but it's annoying to have to deal with at all. Pass on this, or at least wait and see if they fix it. It may be free, but time isn't.

I've been playing this game on play station for a couple weeks, but I'm really excited for the new features in the PC version! It's so fun and zen, and I can't wait to establish my bean fields and open a hotel! I also really like the keyboard controls for the fishing minigame-- can't wait to try cooking this way! Thanks OER team!
Animal Crossing Rip-Off (feed back ig)
Hey just played this game for the first time and I have some feedback The intro is really wierd, you just feel like your character moves for no reason. The chat system is alright The game is a bad ripoff of animal crossing And I was trying to do the first task with the wallpapers, and when i dropped wallpapers i had no way of picking it up the game just put me in the dialogue and i couldn't do anything. if this is your first ever game you nailed it, but as a real game it sucks
I would like the game is the controls was a little more clearer. When you don't have a USB controller connected, it doesn't tell you the corresponding key, kind of have to guess it. The mini tutorial is a bit confusing as well. I'll try to play it a bit more in the future if the devs improve on the game where it lacks the most.
While the game is definitely in its early stages, it's clear to see the potential and how the game will evolve into a polished product with great features. It's a casual, relaxing game with a noble humanitarian cause - great for kids and family!
Well, I was super excited for this game because it's just a cute little time waster and I had originally played it on ps4. So I got the game, got some DLC. It was a little laggy last night here and there, but it was fine. Now today it just keeps not responding, I can't even play the game. Even on the lowest graphics setting. Definitely disappointed on potentially wasting my money on the DLC.
This game is a clear rip of Animal Crossing, except it does a horrible job of doing it. There have been no updates since July and none of those updates seem to address any of the issues. Controls are clunky and the tutorial is nonexistant. You can not adjust the camera angle at all.
spent 30 mins before it crashed movement was clunky, interaction was buggy, and i understimated just how gawdy this game is
