Terrible point and click hidden item game with jump scares. Will not even play in fullscreen. Instantly kills you every time you make a wrong move. Avoid.
Why are developers so intent in creating the worst game ever. That is not something to strive.
Паносище, с тупыми скримерами, безобразной графикой. Игра сделана на коленках, полноэкранного режима нет. Тупая анимация экрана смерти. Просто, ужасная игра и ужасная в плане свое существования. Не советую к покупке!

The most horrifying thing about this game is the fact that it is neither as bad as its infamous reputation suggests, nor is it the single worst horror game available on Steam. It is, however, pretty darned close on both accounts... First bad sign: Opens in a small window which, when maximised, simply transforms the game from a small screen overlaying your Steam page to a small screen surrounded by whiteness. Spif-fy. Second bad sign: The only way I found to exit the game after achieving this extraordinary display option was to shut down my computer by force. Third bad sign: The, ahem, "game" itself... It's a point-and-click game with static images, first person POV. So even when you look out a window to observe that your neighbour's house is on fire, you don't get even the slightest hint of animated flames writhing; just a static image of, well, your neighbour's house on fire. None of this would be an especially huge minus, if the story itself were interesting enough. Spoiler: It's not. Nor would it be worthy of enormous criticism if the gameplay was compelling enough. Second spoiler: It sure as ♥♥♥♥ isn't. Heck, even the presence of some cool jump-scares, or moments of split-second kill-the-zombie-before-it-kills-you action might have saved this from being one of the biggest ♥♥♥♥-sandwiches you could ever opt to eat, and I've read reviews which claim you can use the shotgun you pick up to quickly shoot zombies as they pop up on-screen, but...I either had zombies fill the screen, munch the crap out of me, then unceremoniously disappear, or I had zombies fill the screen, take one bite out of me, and give me an instant Game Over. Neither event seemed to occur with any semblance of rhyme or reason, and the lack of any save system means that you'll be going back to the beginning over and over and over again, despite reports that the game can be completed in something like four minutes (a first-time feat which would require much more luck than skill, I suspect). Add to this the hardest-to-find items in a video game EVER - I seriously challenge anyone to find that axe in the park without witnessing a walkthrough first, or simply spamming every inch of the screen just to see what happens - and basically what you have is an unplayable mess. It's a shame, too, because for all of two minutes the opening cut scene gave me some small semblance of hope that this WASN'T the crap-croissant which everyone claims it to be (i.e. said opening is actually quite good). Then the game proper begins, and it's all swiftly downhill from there. The semi-competence of small aspects of this game - i.e. the moderately decent graphics and sound - unfortunately prevent this from even being one of those "so-bad-it's-good" propositions...so perhaps the only true saving grace of this product is the fact that it's almost eternally on sale for under a dollar. Given that the devs should probably PAY people to play it, that's still not much of a bargain, I'm afraid. Only a REAL zombie apocalypse could be less fun than this steaming pile of undead excrement. Verdict: 2.5/10.
Really? I spent money on this? I should kill myself.
No.
我硬着头皮玩了5分钟只为能写一个评论。 辣鸡! 这种游戏flash网站的都做得比它好,这厮游戏能上steam那些就更该上。 几张破图片就能做成游戏了真是,喜加一都不值。
Well, it calls itself a 'terrifying point and click adventure' and is only 3/5 accurate in this describtion It's actually point and click, but I wouldn't call it that much of an adventure and it's most certainly not terrifying at all It has some jumpscares, but they don't scare you, they startle you and later you will sleep like a baby anyway. In fact, the jumpscares in this particular bad game are too cheap to even get the whole startling thing right. Congratulations game, you managed to not be even worth the time you are playing it, don't even talk about the money you have to spent.
Paradigm Shift is a horror adventure game where you try to survive a zombie apocalypse. Story: You play as an unnamed man. You awaken from a nightmare and find your city of River Lake devastated by a chemical plant explosion that turns animals and humans into flesh eating monsters. Your rations are running low and you decide that it's time leave. The story is pretty bares bones, you do get notes scattered around and they try to explain the story slightly, but not by much. It's really not that good and only is there to set up the puzzles you solve. Graphics: The graphics are absolutely awful. Paradigm Shift is an adventure game and you know that looking for items is a big part of games like these. The environments look really low resolution and there's these really ugly scratch marks across each screen, which sometimes obscures crucial items you need to pick up. Enemies also look stupid, they have these really weird photoshop stuff on them, that makes them look funny instead of scary. Audio: Since this game is basically a flash game, the audio is super compressed and crunchy. The sound effects are all awful and are actually quite hilarious, like the zombies attacking you. The only good thing I can come up with the audio design is the end credits song that actually sounds pretty good (probably a hot take of mine). Gameplay: As said before, Paradigm Shift is an adventure game where you pick up items and use them to solve puzzles. As I said before, the crucial items are impossible to see in certain sections because of the dark environments and film grains. Let's talk puzzles, as they are the meat on the bones of these type of games. The puzzles are awful and barely make any sense. Most of them are pretty easy, but there are a few puzzles that are so stupid that I got stuck for quite a while. There's also combat, but it's so barebones that I just want to mention it that it exists. Every so often an enemy will pop up and you press on them to take them out. Verdict: Paradigm Shift is awful in every way. Terrible graphics, awful puzzles and just overall low quality, make this game a waste. It's roughly 20 minutes long and it's just not very good, yes it's cheap, but so are so many other games, so just get one of those and skip this. Final Rating: 1/10 Pros: N/A Cons: - Puzzles are awful - Horrible graphics - Terrible audio design If you liked this review please consider joining https://steamcommunity.com/groups/completingthebacklog and https://steamcommunity.com/groups/ImperialReviews
Espetacular!! Susto garantido!! Recomendo !!
