Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.71/day in the week to Aug 10 → 23.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good game.
Glory to Arstotzka.
[b]
Papers, Please
Papers, Please is one of those games that sounds boring when you explain it, but somehow becomes really stressful and addictive when you actually play it. On paper, you are just checking passports at a border booth. You look at names, dates, photos, stamps, permits, rules, and decide who gets in and who gets denied. That sounds simple, but the game slowly keeps adding new rules until your desk becomes a complete mess of documents, mistakes, pressure, and moral choices. The best part is how the game makes you feel the weight of small decisions. Sometimes it is not just “is this passport valid?” Sometimes a person begs you to let them in. Someone wants to reunite with family. Someone looks suspicious. Someone offers a bribe. Someone gives you a sad story, and you have to decide whether helping them is worth risking your job or your family’s survival. And that is what makes the game special. You are not playing a hero with a gun. You are just a tired worker trying to earn enough money for rent, food, heat, and medicine. Every mistake costs money, and at the end of the day your family still needs to survive. So even when you want to be kind, the game pushes you into thinking like the system wants you to think. The gameplay is surprisingly tense. You start checking documents quickly, thinking you have everything under control, then suddenly you miss one tiny detail and get a citation. Wrong date. Wrong district. Missing seal. Different name. Expired permit. It makes you paranoid in a good way. After a while you start staring at every person like they are trying to trick you. The art style is simple, but it fits perfectly. The gray colors, rough faces, cold music, and ugly little booth make the world feel oppressive. It is not a “beautiful” game in the normal sense, but it has a very strong identity. Everything feels uncomfortable on purpose. My only warning is that it can get repetitive if you are not into this kind of gameplay. You are basically doing paperwork under pressure for most of the game. But if the concept clicks with you, it becomes way more interesting than it has any right to be. Papers, Please is smart, stressful, dark, and weirdly emotional. It takes a boring job and turns it into one of the most memorable games I have played. Glory to Arstotzka.
